Very fresh and excellent quality fish. Very romantic setting and friendly staff. The only flaw: too many ants.
For the rest, I highly recommend it.

It is now a fixed stop every time we stop in Castro. Very elegant location, well-kept and welcoming typical Salento garden. Friendly and highly professional staff, not to mention the quality of the food, fresh fish and high-level presentation of the dishes. What can I say, for anyone in Castro it is a must to stop at Da Amedeo. See you next year

Enchanting place, an outdoor garden that is a wedding favor, the staff are well-trained and very courteous, 2 steps from Castro Castello, we found a place without a reservation, but if you want to eat in this enchanting place, I recommend the presentation, more than anything else so as not to be left empty-handed

We went for dinner during our stay in Castro. Very nice place, with a characteristic outdoor garden. The food was excellent, the staff were friendly and the evening was very pleasant. Only note: too many ants! They climbed on us, on the table and disturbed our dinner, forcing us to ask to change tables. For the rest nothing to complain about.
A special comment goes to the desserts: they are made by the lady, I presume the owner. Highly recommended!!! They are absolutely delicious and you can't leave there without tasting them! Honest account in line with quality.

having arrived early with the restaurant half-empty we also had the opportunity to talk to the chef who took the liberty of directing us towards something we might have liked more.
the atmosphere and the location are the icing on the cake, a garden full of trees and very relaxing lights.

Very nice restaurant with an outdoor area that creates a great atmosphere.
Very refined fish starters with bold but successful combinations. Even the first particulates and well done. The homemade desserts were exceptional.
The recommended and proposed wines were linked to native vines of the Salento area.
Fair price.

Locale accogliente, arredato sobriamente e piacevole, il giardino è incantevole, piante di agrumi, erbe aromatiche, fiori. Gli antipasti di pesce sono ottimi, il pescato del giorno pure: ricciole, spigole quelle servite a noi. La qualità notevole e il servizio cortese e accurato. Prezzo a nostro parere in linea con il livello dei piatti.

Run by a lovely couple who have experience working in London. All fresh ingredients. Our sea bass fillet had been caught that morning and was simply cooked accompanied by simple vegetables. Nice pasta choices. My husband enjoyed his squid ink and prawns. I had sea urchins (as an experiment!). Very friendly staff, lovely shady garden at the back. Highly recommended.
