A delightful location discovered by chance, wandering around the streets of San Gimignano, retro atmosphere, a few tables characterized by old desks, antique tables, brocantage,... lamps and curtains with intense but delicate colours,... different chairs and armchairs for every table, soft lights, light music, which accompany us to enter a small delightful world of lights, flavours, colours. Excellent cuisine. The half egg on pecorino and truffle fondue is excellent. A little expensive,....but worth it.

Ingresso anonimo, come tanti locali analoghi in questa cittadina, situato in una traversa in zona semicentrale. Piccolo salone con cinque tavoli, molto ben arredato nel suo minimalismo, con la struttura in mattoni interna lasciata a vista. Accoglienza cordiale, menù con piatti caratteristici rivisitati, bello l'impiattamento e ottimo l'accostamento dei vari ingredienti a insaporire la tradizione toscana. Buona scelta dei vini, senza eccesso di ricarico. Tempi d'attesa nella norma e rapporto qualità/prezzo adeguato alla qualità del luogo. Consigliato se passate da queste parti e se volete qualità.
Un suggerimento: coprirei, per esempio con una tenda, la parte subito a sinistra all'ingresso.

Place in a quiet and cozy location just outside the main squares. Inside it appears a little confusing, with a modern, almost circus-like style, with combinations of historic wooden furniture and bright curtains.
Overall you can see the desire to be elegant, I would aim for that.
As a first course, two tagliatelle with mushrooms and saffron, good, slightly watery and not too tasty.
Maybe I would use some porcini mushrooms and review the balance between the flavors to give the dish a little boost.
Like a second Florentine steak, matured for 70 days, perfectly cooked: rare but not cold. Tasty and tender, slightly orange fat, really good.
Baked potatoes truly to remember, light and fragrant, not heavy, crunchy.
The manager is a truly capable and attentive person who transmits passion. Service of the Fiorentina cut at the table performed very well.
In essence, a place with great potential, by fixing something it can be at the top.
