Cucina Torcicoda In Firenze

Visited with my 18 year old daughter after being recommended by a friend. What a fantastic restaurant. Our waiter Ciro was warm and welcoming. Gave good advice about the menu, particularly when he thought we over ordered and we might like to share a starter. Prosecco by the glass was very nice. The olive oil was local and particularly peppery. Excellent assorted meats and cheese to start. My daughter then had a beautiful pasta dish with a pork ragout, ricotta and spinach. She refused to share it. I had the veal which was delicious with roast potatoes and the most delicious baked vegetables. Pudding was a salted short bread biscuit with chantilly crème and red fruit coulis. The salt elevated this dish to exceptional. I would definitely come back. Tables well spaced out. Mood lighting and nice Italian lounge music playing. Loved it. More of a grown ups place than somewhere to take young kids.

The restaurant has 2 areas. On the right, a casual Fine dining with great service and Good selection of classical Italian dishes and drinks. 3 courses will be around 40 to 60 euro per person but you are getting well plated, and portion dishes. No pizza on this menu, If you want a more casual dining experience they have the pizza dining area at a very reasonable price in a section on the left when you walk through the door. Service staff are cheerful and attentive. Makes for a relaxed and nice dining atmosphere. Highly recommend for a good Italian meal.

Very nice place. Slightly glam atmosphere that was perhaps not what we were looking for with kids. Very nice pastas. Steak was good. The tiramisu was one of the best I’ve had ( I don’t usually like it very much). He poured us a free glass of brunello (I think they had some leftover at the end of the night , we were the last customers). Great service (not just because of the free wine).

Tough T-bone steak is very good

Incredible service and atmosphere. We were promptly seated on a Thursday evening for dinner. Our server was quite friendly and recommended his favorite dishes. The duck carpaccio had an esquite taste. The sea bass was booked to perfection and the tiramisu has just the right amount of creaminess.

Michelin restaurant says about all you need to know. Best pizza we've had in Italy, flavours were unbelievable and my only regret was that I didn't myself 2 pizzas

Recommended place and the waiters gave us very good recommendations. The pasta and meat spectacular. To highlight a stew with pepper. Very expensive wines. And the price is usually also why it doesn't get 5 stars.

Very relaxing and refined environment. Well-executed dishes, correct portions. Excellent peposo, maltagliati particularly noteworthy. It is not the classic trattoria, so the costs are above average.
