Nice and refined atmosphere. The staff couldn't be more friendly, which isn't a bad thing (Francesco was super nice).
I've been wanting to try Torcicoda's cuisine for a while, since I've lived in Florence for years, and I was pleasantly surprised. Spaghetti cacio e pepe with raw shrimp and lime, which my Roman niece ordered, were DELICIOUS. The pumpkin risotto was very flavorful, and finished with a tiramisu that will definitely have us returning soon.
I'm renewing my praise for this restaurant because it's good to do so when needed.
I've been there many times and find it refined in every sense, with refined, light, and flavorful cuisine. It can give off a super chic vibe. It is, but you feel right at home, with attentive service that is ALWAYS kind, polite, and super friendly.
As for the food, everything was excellent, even the sautéed vegetables (which I imagined would be a fairly simple dish), but they amazed me. Super tasty, and I want the recipe!
Thank you for the wonderful New Year's Eve evening where you pampered all your customers so well.

Fantastic dinner... sublime food (try the prawn tartare, trust me)... we were welcomed by two waiters, Francesco and Agostino, perfect!... every restaurateur should hope to find collaborators like them! Congratulations!

Our experience at Cucina Torcicoda was simply excellent. The restaurant is cozy, well-organized, and has delicious cuisine, but what really made the difference was the service.
I would especially like to praise Paolo and the head waiter Chiro, who served us with rare kindness and cordiality. They were extremely attentive throughout the evening: they helped us translate the menu, suggested incredible dishes and desserts, and even recommended a wine that we loved.
Of the three dishes we tried, the one that surprised us the most was the octopus—perfectly cooked, with a slightly crispy skin, accompanied by cabbage and leeks. Simply exceptional.
The care, kindness, and genuine interest in offering a good experience made our visit unforgettable.
We left delighted and wanting to return. I highly recommend it!

After a whole day of walking we dropped by this place one night and ordered 2 pizzas to go, the guy at the front was very friendly and took our order.
While we waited we could see that this spot had a lot of movement and people coming in to dinner.
Next time we are in Firenze we will try to go, make the time and sit down to have dinner.
