First wonderful experience as chef Rambaldi. We started with an original a la carte aperitif which immediately made clear the quality of the materials and the care in treating them (but on the other hand we knew who we were dealing with...) continued with a piola tour which was a crescendo, from the appetizer with traditional flavors and innovative shapes, to the first course that I will still dream about tonight, up to the touching Marengo crin, an Oscar-worthy reinterpretation of the famous chicken. Closing with the desserts which kept the dinner at a very high level (the hazelnut goffri left us speechless). In general, a cuisine that pushes those traditional home flavors to excellence. Note of merit to the environment, from the open kitchen which is a pleasure to follow, to the friendly and courteous guys in the dining room, through to those small details such as the dishes of the traditional "good" service on important Sundays to the details of the furnishings which are left find out how Squallor's vinyl is upside down on that shelf up there 🤣 I renew my congratulations to everyone, we will certainly see each other again, thank you. Perfect sunday lunch with the family in chef Rambaldi’s restaurant. We went à la carte because my sons wanted to taste the Risotto alla Rossini and that proved to be an inspired choice. Our Maiale Marengo melted in our mouth. Starters of Ravioli di Coniglio and Cappelletti al Ragu were delicious. We finished off the meal with Soufflé, cheese cake and panna cotta, all perfectly executed. Unpretentious interior and fully open kitchen. Friendly and professional staff. We will be back!
