Last night we went to Cucina Cereda in Ponte San Pietro (BG).
Thanks to Gourmantico's initiative we are discovering and trying some of the starred restaurants in our area with a fixed menu of 80 euros (including wines).
It was a beautiful evening, in excellent company, with tasty dishes and attentive and kind service.
To start, welcome appetizers, accompanied by homemade bread and a warm focaccia served with excellent olive oil.
The artichoke with chestnut cream was delicious! I devoured it!
I won't tell you anything about Polenta and Pica Sö. It is a dish to discover and taste, which recalls the flavors of tradition.
Delicious and I repeat, delicious, casoncelli with red prawn and seaweed! The shellfish powder that completed the dish was magical… I would love to understand how it was made!
The catch of the day was an amberjack served with turnip tops (which I don't particularly like) and olive powder, accompanied by a warm broth. A singular dish, a little bitter for my tastes, but the other diners appreciated it very much.
The spoonful pre-dessert was very fresh and not too sweet, garnished with three drops of balsamic vinegar.
And to end on a sweet note, the bonet made with three different molds (a Lego, a teddy bear and a toy car) was served with saffron flavored ice cream. Along with the bonet there are lots of other small sweets such as tiramisu mochi and mini cannoncini. Everything excellent!

Decidiamo di visitare questo ristorante fresco di stella nella provincia bergamasca.
Tutto buono, nella norma ma senza effetto wow. Non adeguato invece il servizio. Non ci ritornerei.

Ma cosa potrei dire di questo ristorante?
Io e la mia amica ci siamo trovate talmente bene che son rimasta senza parole.
Il cibo è ottimo, ben presentato, il personale cortese, ci hanno consigliato anche un buon vinello che ha reso il nostro pranzo super!! Anche il pane buonissimo.
E non si dica che negli stellati si mangia poco!!!
Se dovessi trovare il pelo nell'uovo, non ha parcheggio....ma due passi non fanno male.
