We arrived almost at closing time, but the very kind lady at the register asked if they could make a couple of Chiavenna gnocchi, and luckily they said yes... Excellent, a real treat. Everyone was really friendly, and the place is a real gem. The desserts were excellent, the beer was good, and it was a truly wonderful experience.

For me, this is the best of the crotti in Chiavenna. EVERYTHING is delicious, the portions are generous, and there's a wide selection to choose from. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

A charming place just steps from the train station and close to two large parking lots in the center of Chiavenna. The friendly welcome immediately helped us understand what we were going to eat. All the dishes, from appetizers to main courses, were generous and tasty (I recommend sharing with friends if you're not a big eater so you can make it to the end of the meal). The price was fair. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

We had a great meal and were filled to our liking. The price was great for us Swiss. I'll go back again; the service was also very attentive. Reservations are a good idea.

Dear guests, the food is perfect. Classic Crotto and local fare, plentiful, tasty, and delicious. I honestly don't know what else to say, a must-eat place if you're in Chiavenna.

25/10/2025: We had dinner at La Pioda and returned for an aperitif. The food was excellent, the service was precise and punctual, and the atmosphere was welcoming. I absolutely recommend it.
