After trying the winner of the episode for the most Foodish toast in Milan, I wanted to try the one that had inspired me the most. And I have to say that after trying it, I can confirm that for me, the most Foodish toast is found here. The place has a very pleasant atmosphere; I like the decor, which is slightly French and elegant without being forced. The background music led me to discover a couple of songs that I then added to my Spotify playlist. The staff is very friendly and cheerful. The "Croche Madame" is toast the way you like it. For me, a bold "Madame," embracing you with its flavor and quantity. After a three-hour martial arts training session, it has that caloric boost and rich flavor I crave. The hint of mustard and the egg on top give it a balanced roundness of flavor, along with the generous amount of cheese and ham that leave no doubt about its importance. Have I made you hungry? I want to go back to try the version with bacon on top... Afterwards, we had a warm caramelized apple pie and ice cream... The cost was €50 for two (2 Madames, 2 medium beers, two sparkling waters, two desserts, and two coffees), absolutely fair and reasonable for what we ate. The only downside: unfortunately, it's not very close to me, otherwise I'd go there often...

A charming little bistro that seeks to evoke a transalpine atmosphere with a style that isn't always successful. In search of originality, we sampled the house specialties: croque monsieur and croque madame. Quality ingredients and very friendly staff, although we had to ask for cutlery, perhaps because of the rush hour. The croque monsieur was well-cooked, while the croque madame had an uneven gratin, excessively crispy on one side. Both were delicious, however. €32 with a glass of wine, water, and a coffee. The underlying concept is original, but the feeling is that there's untapped potential.

Great place for a quick but relaxed lunch! The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff is friendly and attentive. The croque monsieur is truly delicious—highly recommended!
