Croque Monsieur In Milano

A charming little bistro that seeks to evoke a transalpine atmosphere with a style that isn't always successful. In search of originality, we sampled the house specialties: croque monsieur and croque madame. Quality ingredients and very friendly staff, although we had to ask for cutlery, perhaps because of the rush hour. The croque monsieur was well-cooked, while the croque madame was unevenly gratinated, too crispy on one side. Both were delicious, however. €32 with a glass of wine, water, and a coffee. The underlying concept is original, but the feeling is that there's untapped potential.
