I had a wonderful experience at Cortex Bistrot. It's been a long time since I've eaten so well: simple ingredients transformed into extraordinary dishes thanks to the chef's mastery. Passion and love for the ingredients shine through in every course. The staff also deserves special praise: attentive, professional, kind, yet warm and approachable, making you feel truly at ease. A place I wholeheartedly recommend and will definitely return to.

A bistro that truly deserves 5 stars.
Both the starters and the main course were not only excellent but also impressively creative — surprising flavor combinations that worked perfectly. You can tell every detail was carefully thought out, from presentation to texture. Attentive service, warm yet modern atmosphere. A real culinary discovery that I highly recommend.

The atmosphere was very cozy, with a nice mix of rustic and modern inside. I liked the attention to detail in the design, from the lighting to the furniture. The staff was welcoming and made the whole experience feel relaxed. Food had some unique touches and tasted fresh, even if some dishes took a bit longer to arrive. Overall, it felt like a place where you can slow down and enjoy a meal without stress. I would definitely return to try more from the menu, especially the desserts which looked really tempting on other tables.

Excellent cuisine, flavorful and creative, and very good value for money. The person who served us (probably the owner) spoke excellent English and even fairly good French too.
Our favorite: a dish prepared risotto-style but with small pasta dishes, asparagus, and caviar. And for dessert, the taco with dark chocolate mousse and raspberries. Superb presentation. And a careful blend of textures and flavors.

Eggplant
Trout, which as usual I found too salty but my husband didn’t.
A very pleasant orange wine - not too funky.
Can’t think of any negatives
I would definitely recommend and certainly go back to.

Piatti ricercati dai sapori inusuali. Una cucina particolare, diversa da tutti gli altri Bistrot della città e personalmente molto azzeccata. Ho apprezzato molto la capacità di abbinamento e la leggerezza dei piatti. Abbiamo cenato fuori per il caldo e la stagione, forse l’atmosfera dell’interno si addice di più alla ricercatezza globale del locale. Cantina dei vini particolare, molto ben abbinata ai piatti proposti. Torneremo sicuramente!
