One of the best restaurants in Parma, the staff is very kind and helpful, the cuisine is excellent and offers different dishes that allow you to escape from the Parmesan cuisine by trying interesting combinations of flavors. I highly recommend it.

We returned with friends and had a great time, as usual. The environment is informal and welcoming, the service friendly and attentive, the cuisine expresses originality and care in the selection of raw materials. We will certainly return to try other dishes on the new menu which, we would like to suggest, could be written in more detail even if the staff's descriptions were exhaustive.

Non-obvious combinations in very interesting and refined dishes. I got to sample most of the menu having shared some with others and it was all extremely good! The staff was knowledgeable and friendly and also gave good advice on portions when there was a choice between large and small. We really had a great time, highly recommended place! Cabbage is definitely the dish I recommend trying!

I was here for the first time last night and I have to say that it turned out to be one of the best places in Parma. Delicious dishes with combinations of particular ingredients. The cabbage is absolutely worth trying. Proportionate account considering the quality and research of the products.

Da tempo volevo provare questo ristorante e finalmente ne abbiamo avuto possibilità. Locale rustico ma elegante, accogliente, come i ristoranti tipici di una volta. Personale super gentile, hanno avuto occhi di riguardo per noi e per la nostra cagnolina. Menù davvero sfizioso, piatti elaborati e ricercati con sapori e consistenze inaspettate. Prezzi adeguati alla qualità offerta. Consigliatissimo e davvero complimenti!

Locale in pieno centro, pochi e apprezzati coperti, curato nell’arredo, accogliente. Menu non facile da interpretare, devi essere pronto alle cose particolari, descritto dalle cameriere in modo ineccepibile, cosa importante per capire i piatti, ottimo servizio. Piatti curati non scontati, buoni!! Carta dei vini interessante dolci ottimi. Prezzo nella norma, da provare!!

Gelateria Al Polo di Parma

25/05/2025: I was extremely satisfied with the quality of the flavors offered in this ice cream shop: refined, original, perfectly balanced. You can feel the passion and expertise in the choice of raw materials and in the processing. The staff was very kind: they offered me a taste of a flavor that I would have taken anyway, demonstrating attention and availability, but also great preparation in describing the various flavors. However, I cannot ignore an aspect that is very negative for me: all the ice creams are gluten-free, a praiseworthy choice that allows those who are celiac to enjoy every flavor without worries. But precisely for this reason, I find it deeply unfair that a surcharge of 1 euro is applied for those who want a gluten-free cone. We are talking about an ice cream that for 2 flavors costs 3.50 euros: one euro more represents a very high markup simply for a different cone, which certainly does not have such an excessive cost. I understand that there may be small differences in price between a standard cone and one certified gluten-free, but here we end up penalizing those who already live with a dietary restriction. And above all: if all ice cream is already gluten-free, why further burden those who choose a different format out of necessity, not whim? A fairer solution? Reduce this surcharge to a symbolic figure (maximum 50 cents), or – ideally – absorb it in the price, given the already excellent 100% gluten-free offer. It would be a gesture of real inclusion, not just a facade. I hope this reflection will be taken into consideration: the product is excellent, the experience almost perfect, but inclusiveness should not turn into an additional cost for those who simply have different needs.
24/05/2025: The best ice cream. Certainly great skill of the chef. It is also evident that they use natural products. While I was choosing the flavors I noticed boxes of very fresh fruit ready to be used in the recipes. Thank you
