A top-notch gastronomic experience, where technique and creativity blend with the aromas and flavors of Sicily. The dinner begins with an appetizer of raw seafood in five variations, accompanied by delicate sauces that enhance their freshness and flavor: a truly memorable start. Among the dishes that most impressed me was the cuttlefish, reminiscent of the symbol of the patron saint, Saint Agatha, with its elegant black interior: a tribute to the city that excites and surprises. The linguine with clams, cicada, and truffle is a masterpiece of balance and creativity, enhancing each individual ingredient in a symphony of flavors. The pork belly, cooked at a low temperature and finished with a perfect glaze, captivates with its tenderness and intensity. To finish, a truffle tiramisu that combines tradition and boldness, leaving an indelible memory. The service is impeccable: discreet, attentive, and always smiling. The elegant setting, with its arches and contemporary details, creates a refined and relaxing atmosphere. Special praise goes to chefs Francesco Patti and Domenico Colonnetta, true masters of Sicily with sensitivity, technique, and a creativity that captivates every palate. They undoubtedly deserve a second Michelin star. A highly recommended destination for those seeking a gourmet experience that speaks of Sicily with modernity and heart.

Excellent food. The seafood dishes in particular were even better than expected. Nice room. We went for a late lunch so it wasn’t busy. Very attentive & professional service. Wine pairing offerings could maybe be a little better but I’m only looking to point something out that wasn’t better than expected. Really a 10/10. I expect they should get a 2nd star next go around. World class food & nice people.

Refined venue with excellent service

Wonderful experience on all levels! Food is a masterpiece, service is attentive and friendly.

Delicious: The restaurant beautifully combines local ingredients, excellent service, and a wow factor, creating a truly wonderful experience. I went with my girlfriend for her birthday, and both the sommelier and the two waitresses were very friendly and attentive. When I mentioned the need to change a dish due to an ingredient, they offered a similar solution, which I thought was an excellent detail.

An experience not to be missed among the starred restaurants in Sicily. Chefs Colonnetta and Patti, masters of hospitality, manage to make you live a unique experience in the gastronomic panorama. Another peculiarity, compared to other starred restaurants, is the not too formal spirit that distinguishes them. Nino, the maitre-sommelier, enhances each course with his explanations and wine pairing. The waiters are kind and professional. The dishes are studied in every detail with various references to Sicilian traditions, often taking you back to childhood memories. Finally, the desserts, in particular, our pear and chocolate was a revelation both to the sight and to the palate. An experience and a journey that enrich you.

I ate in two 1-starred Michelin restaurants and one on the Michelin Guide in Catania, Coria was absolutely the best of all. The cooking was superb & flawless across all dishes on the menu and might I say, technically mature too with great finesse. I would definitely wish to visit again in future visits to Catania.
