Lunch at Contraste was a wonderful experience for us. All the dishes are prepared and presented with great care, and the underlying theme of the menu is intriguing and satisfying. The wait staff is kind, attentive, and always available. The dishes are also a real plus, with their quirky and unusual ceramics. A negative note: there's no bread or focaccia, especially not on the two-texture beef dish. Personally, I didn't like the fact that bottles of water and wine weren't on our table, a practice often used in restaurants of this caliber but not one I personally enjoy.

My wife and I went there the other night for the first time thanks to a voucher given to us by our children. It was a true culinary experience because you don't know the menu in advance; you discover it only by tasting each dish. The service is professional yet empathetic. The atmosphere is deliberately minimalist.

What can I say?! An experience to have...several times in a lifetime. Exceptional lunch, precise and punctual service. We had fun and enjoyed every moment sitting at the table. A "pop" location and tasteful design. Being our first time at this restaurant, we opted for the "reflection" menu, which far exceeded our expectations. Not being big drinkers, we asked if it was possible to sample some non-alcoholic beverages, and what can I say... two bottles of vinegar, perfectly paired with the dishes (blackcurrant apple and vinegar + passion fruit apple and vinegar). A dish I will always cherish: mussels with cacio e pepe (so much, so much). Everything was perfect, and two months later, I still remember the flavors. Well done, Contraste 💪🏻 We're ready to try the "reflections" menu!

An excellent experience, from every perspective. The dishes were exceptional, both for the eyes and the palate, and the service was impeccable.

We had a great time, exceeding our initial expectations. Aside from a small service hiccup at the beginning, with a slightly excessive wait (which the staff noticed and quickly remedied), everything else was excellent. We'll definitely be back to try other dishes. I personally really enjoyed the lobster azulejo, the monkfish, the reimagined Milanese risotto, and the Iberian pluma. The appetizers were beautifully presented, but there's room for some improvement in the flavor combinations. The uniformed uniforms and shoes of the wait staff (not a given) were commendable, as were the plates and cutlery (very unique). Finally, the wine list wasn't very extensive, but we received good recommendations.

Amazing, interesting experience!

An experience you absolutely must try. Everything was perfect: the food, the location, and the service. The wait staff was attentive and delightful. It truly exceeded expectations; finally, a Michelin-starred restaurant with no "buts."

I can't give it less than 5 stars, although I think a few details could be improved. The Riflessioni menu is exceptional for my tastes (and I don't understand why the booking confirmation email encourages so much choice for the Riflesso menu... it should be explained better). Amazing, just the right amount of playfulness, delicious... truly, congratulations. The lack of bread, which was certainly well thought out, bothered me a little... perhaps better that way, but in restaurants of this caliber, it's an added treat that feels like a course in itself and that, in my opinion, deserves a presence, even if limited. The tasting portions are fine, especially for flavors that aren't always the simplest and could be tiring, but the lack of a "real" portion here and there was noticeable. For the first time in a restaurant of this caliber, I didn't leave completely full (though certainly not hungry). The service is precise, friendly, and appropriately formal. We didn't appreciate the request to give two courses advance notice, even just to go to the bathroom! I understand if it was a long interruption (for a phone call or a cigarette), but two minutes in the bathroom seems reasonable given the pace of the courses. I would have avoided the embarrassment of having to ask to go to the bathroom like at school. The silicone tablecloth is nice to look at (but only from a distance), but it's unpleasant to touch, and we almost dropped our glass several times. The wine list is overpriced. It's impossible that in all of Italy (I didn't look abroad) the sommelier couldn't find a wine worthy of a Michelin-starred restaurant for under €60 (rarely under €80). Furthermore, they didn't let us choose a glass of dessert wine; they brought one of their own, which was good, at the "modest" price of €22 a glass (which, of course, we discovered when we got the bill). Okay, prices aren't a concern here, but respect is warranted. Despite the generous distance between the tables, for some reason we couldn't quite figure out, the atmosphere felt far from intimate and private. It felt like we were sitting on a stage where something was about to happen. But these are minor details; it was an exceptional dinner.
