A regular lunch stop, despite having many options. You can choose between the buffet or express pasta dishes. Excellent ingredients, fair prices in line with the quality, and very kind and friendly staff.

From bad to worse! This is how I promised to start my review to the people who were there. We discovered this place by chance on a hot and sunny day in Rome. My parents and I were pretty tired and hungry, but at that time and with that heat, we couldn't find a suitable place. I used Google out of desperation and there it was. We went in and the atmosphere was already welcoming and friendly. My parents were thrilled by the presentation of the side dishes and the possibilities of combining them offered. From that day on, this became our regular meeting place. My parents were so thrilled that they also bought vegetables to eat at home in the evening. What can I say... I can only recommend it further. Everything was delicious, fresh and genuine. The pici with black garlic was a wonderful discovery! I hope to be able to return to Rome soon because I will recommend this place to anyone and it's on my list. THANK YOU SO MUCH. SEE YOU SOON

WOW! If you want to experience what's it like to walk into an Italian nonna's kitchen, this is your place. They have multiple dishes prepared and you choose your primary and then sides. Despite being made in bulk, the food is very good. It's a small place, but intimate and authentic. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They also have a small market inside with fresh fruits and vegetables if you want to take something with you while you explore Rome. Highly recommend!

It has now become a fixed stop for lunch! Welcoming and familiar environment, quality food and courtesy for a moment of pause pampered by the friendliness and warmth of the staff. To conclude today's lunch we were served a dessert that was nothing short of heavenly. Thanks to Domenico, Emma, ​​Camillo, Stefano and especially to the two stars of Contorno Bistrot who are Beatrice and Agostino!

20/10/2025: It's delicious, with so many different flavors. It's already cut for sharing. Good draft beer, both lager and red. Very reasonable prices, including entrees. The place isn't very big.

12/10/2025: We dined as a pair at Zia and were immediately struck by its subtle exclusivity: the entrance is kept locked, and a host lets guests in, perhaps to preserve ambiance and avoid casual foot traffic. From the moment we entered, the atmosphere struck the right balance: relaxed yet refined, never overwhelmingly quiet, never intrusive. The interior is warm and inviting, clearly contributing to how comfortable we felt throughout the evening. The service was exemplary: attentive, friendly, and unobtrusive. Every course was introduced with care, timings were impeccable, and the staff’s presence felt natural, not forced. We ordered à la carte. Each dish delivered not only in presentation but in flavor. Among our favorites were the Ravioli del Plin (lamb & cedar), a masterpiece in balance and the lamb with cedar. Every bite reflected confident technique and a clear culinary vision. We have dined in multiple Michelin-starred restaurants (including 3-star) and frankly, Zia provided the richest overall experience of them all. The sum of environment, service, and cuisine here stands out.
11/10/2025: Chef Antonio of Zia, and his crew led by Valentina in front, plus masterful chefs in the kitchen is a memorable dreamy journey of the best tastes of Roman, Lazio, and global cuisine. Spectacular to your eyes, and tantalizing for your taste buds, highly recommend a visit to celebrate anything speical, or just to immerse in his expertise. Grazie mille Chef !
