Everything was excellent, but it's a shame that some dishes were off-menu and weren't told about them. We only discovered them by looking at the neighboring tables, and we would have happily eaten them instead of the cold cuts.

Charming place, warm atmosphere, and excellent location. Lunch included fried gnocco with lard, polenta, stew, and mushrooms, and chestnut ravioli. Everything was delicious and well-served. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent value. Recommended!

10/11/2025: Really good food, freshly made. It does take a bit longer, but it's worth the wait. The atmosphere is beautiful, with a view of the Ticino River across the street.

Viro Steak Restaurant Gallarate

21/03/2026: There were six of us at Viro, and the experience was truly amazing. I had the tomahawk steak and it was simply spectacular: perfectly cooked, flavorful, and top-quality meat. You can really see the care taken in selecting the ingredients and preparing them. Besides the food, I want to give a special compliment to the head waiter and all the staff: extremely kind, helpful, and always smiling. They made the evening even more enjoyable with their friendliness and professionalism. The atmosphere was lovely and the service impeccable.
27/02/2026: A truly beautiful place, well-kept inside, and the servers are also very kind. The meat is really good and cooked well (there were three of us at the table and we asked for three different ways to cook it, and they were all perfect). The desserts are also good. The only suggestion I can give is to improve the baked potatoes and perhaps put salt and pepper at the table to give diners a choice.
