I discovered this place by chance and was pleasantly surprised. The location is unique and the staff is super friendly and wonderful ✌🏼. The restaurant is divided into different rooms, like being in a home—really beautiful! The dishes are delicious and the desserts are top notch!

Come un albero bistrot touched me deeply.
Seeing a place where people are truly welcomed, where there's a home, where everyone has their own space, their own value, their own dignity, moved me deeply.
And knowing that there are people here who dedicate themselves every day to building paths, to following, supporting, and accompanying those with disabilities, with care, patience, and love, makes everything even more special.
You understand the true meaning of life: in humanity, in sincere smiles, in simple gestures.
More places like this, always. 🤍🌱
The mezze paccheri and vegetable meatballs were delicious. I also had the pear and cinnamon dessert... I didn't even have time to take a photo before I devoured it!
Special welcome and service ❤️🙏🏻

A delightful place on a small side street off Via Alessandria. I'd previously ordered takeout, but today we decided to eat here. The bistro is very welcoming, and above all, they run a social catering project. Their motto is "Inclusion Comes with Eating," and their mission is the inclusion of people with cognitive impairment. 👏👏👏
As for their food...everything was delicious. We had the first courses of the day: malfatte with Trapanese pesto and a plate of Venere rice with avocado. They also have a wide selection of homemade desserts. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. I'll be back again, I promise!

We chose "Come un Albero – Museo Bistrot" for our office Christmas lunch, and we left with a full heart. The venue combines cuisine, culture, and social inclusion, creating a welcoming and meaningful atmosphere.
"Come un Albero" was founded in 2004 in Rome as a small association dedicated to inclusion through integrated theater, operating since 1990 at the Carlo Iavazzo Social Center. After years of activity, a bequest from Renata Skok—who wanted to support a café where people with disabilities could work—revived the idea.
In 2014, the "Casa Museo dello sguardo sulla disabili" (House Museum of the View on Disability) was opened, complete with a café and food workshops. In 2018, the project transformed into the "Museo Bistrot": a place where culture, inclusion, and cuisine coexist, incorporating the bistro as an integral and active part of the museum experience.
When we entered for Christmas lunch, we immediately sensed that it wasn't just a meal, but something more important and interesting.
The appetizer of baked potatoes in three variations (Pugliese-style, Greek-style, and cacio e pepe) was a real surprise in terms of inventiveness and flavor. While the first courses were more authentic and traditional, the second courses—vegetarian meatballs with chickpeas, zucchini, potatoes, and Sila provola cheese—and the beef meatballs on creamed cauliflower—were a discovery with every bite. To finish, pear, walnut, and cinnamon cake and tiramisu were served. The lunch was accompanied by the structure and intensity of the "Don Franco" DOC red wine. Everything was simple, pleasant, and authentic, just as a shared lunch should be.
The Museo Bistrot is a place where you can feel at home, where you can lose yourself in memories, objects, and senses. Where a smile accompanies you throughout, making you feel welcomed and always welcome. An experience that combines authentic flavors and profound values, in an environment that speaks of inclusion and beauty.
