I almost don’t want to post a review because i always felt this was a special place, with a perfect combo of food, service and price- but its too good not to share. We’ve been for both pranzo and cena, and the me u never fails to delight. From your first look from the tiny vestibule of what seems like thousands of tiny tortellini being made to the busy but warm interior each lovely little piece adds to the whole. My husband is fluent in Italian (I however am not) and i was amused by how quickly our servers adapted to our bilingual table. We usually split a few things to try and yet also keep a few plates solo- and the team got it all right. Pasta as expected is a stand out, but don’t turn away from the secondi: veal Milanese, anyone? Desserts are a treat. And a very comforting wine list. Booking essential.

Came here with another couple on a Tuesday evening.
They do two sittings, 730 and 930. We arrived at 725 to a queue of people outside, most of who had not booked. This is a popular restaurant!
Served well and the food was really good.

Reservations required but we quickly understand why: homemade pasta, originality of dishes, quality of products, top-notch welcome. Everything is there to have a great time.

a friend recommended it to me and we loved it! fortunately without booking, we got a table at the last minute...family restaurant, owner too friendly, speaks French, full of humor, fresh pasta and ravioli made in front of us and frankly, a real delight...I understand that they are in the Michelin guide 😍thank you for allowing us to eat at your place for this February 14 in Rome, we will come back without hesitation🫶

A real institution where I arrive, hush-hush, looking for a place after a cinema.
Taking me to the front, just as evening service opened, it was impossible to get a table unless I waited...and patience paid off!
Here we are seated in a table of four, we are ready. And here is what the menu promises...
Beautiful, well-executed, generous dishes. The waiter recommends veal, a house specialty. An excellent choice. Also the triangles of ricotta and salsiccia to die for. The charcuterie plate is also recommended.
Really a nice, no-fuss address full of Americans but also locals.
Don't forget to book to have a table.

Lorsque vous passez le matin devant le restaurant vous voyez la préparations des pâtes , déjà on a faim! Très bon restaurant avec une belle carte. Le personnel est très accueillant . Nous n avions pas réservé , très mauvaise idée.. le patron qui accueille est adorable, il nous a trouvé une table. Nous avons très bien mangé. Je recommande vivement .

We had not booked because chance had brought us to this alley. The boss arrives and tells us that the restaurant is full unless [we are lucky] a place becomes available. Then what to say? pure pleasure, a jewel, taste-wise, perfect service, expert advice for the choice of accompaniments and wines, the boss and the staff with the rare class that makes gastronomy must exist accompany you for a perfect evening at the height of the beauty of Rome.
