It’s an OK place, very friendly family setting. However, the food was mediocre. Yes the pasta was handmade in the back but the flavors were not as described and hyped.

We lined up 30 minutes before opening without a reservation, hoping to get a table. We were lucky, and we got the only table for 2pax. This place books out weeks in advance. It was one of the best Italian meals I have ever had. No wonder it books out. Old style ambiance, home style food.

I had to test drive my very poor Italian to make a reservation at Colline Emiliane, and I’m so glad I did. There was a crowd outside the restaurant the night we dined there, all hoping for a cancellation.
The food is fantastic. From hearty lasagna with spinach pasta that was perfectly balanced, to the spinach ravioli with butter and sage – a dish so simple that to make it this delicious is true art – no misses, everything was delicious. The tiramisu (unfortunately no one got a picture) was universally agreed to be the best anyone had ever had. Wonderful service further enhanced the experience, making this decidedly our best meal in Rome.
Highly recommend. Plan to dine here any time we are in Rome.

The pasta was delicious. We ordered pumpkin ravioli, ravioli with bones and tagliatelle bolognese and they were all amazing. The quantities are small. And the shots are 6 euros very expensive

My son and I are here. Wow! Their home made pasta with prosciutto and artichoke was spectacular.
For an appetizer we had a soft cheese (similar to ricotta) that was spread on crackers. The chef also added a pear jam with mustard that I would not have ordered, but I’m glad the chef did this. The flavor was out of this world. Yum!

Came here with another couple on a Tuesday evening.
They do two sittings, 730 and 930. We arrived at 725 to a queue of people outside, most of who had not booked. This is a popular restaurant!
Served well and the food was really good.

Lorsque vous passez le matin devant le restaurant vous voyez la préparations des pâtes , déjà on a faim! Très bon restaurant avec une belle carte. Le personnel est très accueillant . Nous n avions pas réservé , très mauvaise idée.. le patron qui accueille est adorable, il nous a trouvé une table. Nous avons très bien mangé. Je recommande vivement .
