A charming venue in one of Rome's most picturesque squares.
Excellent staff, especially Giada.
Highly recommended!

Went with girlfriends to do the Cooking with Nonna pasta making class and it was delightful!! We had Nonna Rossa and Rory as our hosts who were super. We left with more skills knowledge in pasta making and had dinner with Nonna taking in all her tips and stories of Italian cooking and regions. If you’re in Rome and want an authentic experience - this is it!

This is one of those places where wine isn't just a menu: it's a family story. Between the soaring vaults of Palazzo Capranica and the walls lined with bottles, the atmosphere has the measured pace of Roman elegance, just steps from the Pantheon and Montecitorio, yet without the catwalk anxiety: just the right lighting, a low tone of voice, punctual and friendly service, present when needed and discreet when necessary.
The wine list is a carefully curated journey through the best of Italy, with special attention to a story that is at home here: that of Casale del Giglio. It's not a name thrown in for fashion: it's the watermark of an authentic bond that becomes the key to understanding the place. It's evident in the suggestions by the glass, the pairings, and the small, tastefully suggested vertical tastings: Lazio's wine culture is presented with expertise and pride.
The kitchen follows the same tone as the dining room: precise, clean, and focused. Dishes are prepared with a confident hand, cooked with respect, portions are just right, and plating is meticulously done without frills. It's a gastronomic approach that seeks consistency rather than effect, and it finds it: from the entrée to the dessert, everything speaks the language of simple, well-crafted goodness, the kind that never tires and leaves you happy.
I leave with the most precious feeling: not only of having drunk well, but of having understood why a glass—served with grace and skill—can tell the story of a city. In Rome, wine has many salons; at the Collegio, it has found its own.

Had the most wonderful dinner at Collegio Bistrot for so many reasons!
It was my first time in Rome and had the company of a great local friend who chose to take me to this lovely place. The service was outstanding, so kind, attentive, welcoming. They did so much to help recommend the best dishes and wine. The restaurant is beautiful inside and the seating outside is a stone throw from the Pantheon. A great experience ro have fresh handmade pastas as well as the wine and olive oil that they also make themselves.
So grateful for a wonderful experience and highly recommend to visit Collegio Bistrot if you find yourself in Rome and looking for a place that isnt a tourist trap.
Grazie mille to the whole team for a lovely, memorable night!

I had the best Aperol here! Everything was delicious, the service was fast, and it’s in a great area close to the Pantheon perfect place to stop and relax after visiting.
