A truly wonderful experience! In addition to the excellent quality of the dishes and the welcoming atmosphere, a special mention goes to the owner, Antonio, who served us exceptionally well, making us feel right at home. He passionately explained the restaurant's origins to us, making the dinner even more authentic and special. The pasta e fagioli were extraordinary, and the Parma ham was of exemplary quality, truly impeccable. A place we will definitely return to and one we highly recommend.

We chose this restaurant for our company Christmas lunch, and the experience was truly excellent. The atmosphere was welcoming and elegant, perfect for a convivial yet professional occasion. The staff immediately proved helpful, attentive, and well-organized, helping to make the day run smoothly and pleasantly for everyone. The menu was highly appreciated: carefully prepared dishes, quality ingredients, and balanced flavors, with generous portions and impeccable presentation. Each course arrived on time, despite the large number of guests, a sign of well-coordinated cuisine and service. A special thank you to the staff for their professionalism and courtesy: they managed the event with great attention to detail, making us feel truly welcomed. One of the few restaurants where you leave satisfied and full, spending much less than average. Excellent service and a welcoming atmosphere. Lately, for these reasons, I've been going there often, even though you have to book well in advance.

Good restaurant a little bit down

A rustic yet very refined restaurant. The service is attentive, and there's always water and wine on the table. The food is superb. The only flaw, if we really have to find one, is the lack of a written menu, so it's unclear how much each dish will cost.

Overall, I'm giving it 5 stars, but I think 4.5 is more honest. Upon arrival, a welcome aperitif of focaccia and parmesan cheese is offered, which is very much appreciated. This is followed by an appetizer of torta fritta, which in my opinion isn't exceptional, accompanied by a whole salami to be cut at the table, and truly delicious shoulder ham and prosciutto. The first course selection is extensive; I ordered agnolotti stuffed with stew with porcini mushroom and truffle sauce (photo) and was completely satisfied. My second course of lamb chops and roast potatoes also received an absolutely positive rating. Finally, before even ordering dessert, a plate of house-made cakes is offered, complete with passito wine and liqueurs, all very much appreciated. You can also order a dessert from the selection. I appreciated the very friendly and pleasant service, even if a bit slow, but overall, the dinner was acceptable. If I really had to find a flaw, it would be the lack of a printed menu; in fact, the dishes are listed verbally, and some might not appreciate not being able to assess the prices in advance. However, once you get to the cashier, the price is absolutely fair, and in fact, considering the quantity and quality of the food, it's actually quite reasonable! The location in the Parma hills is also beautiful. In short, an excellent restaurant worth trying.
