It’s really hard to find “interesting” options in this part of the city, which is understandable. There are a lot of tourists around and it makes perfect sense to offer the sort of things they’re likely to enjoy the most, which are typically hyper-palatable and “famous” dishes. I understand that a lot of people don’t want to eat liver and pigeon, so it’s fair enough. However, although this restaurant does offer some of the classics, more importantly, they offer some really unique and truly local options. Everything is always prepared to a very high standard, the staff is always happy to answer any questions you might have about different dishes, and the ingredients are clearly very thoughtfully sourced. You can really tell that they care about food and care about your experience. I am personally always impressed by how perfectly everything is seasoned, I’m not used to that attention to detail, even at some very pricey establishments. I honestly couldn’t recommend this place more!

We received a very warm welcome, the service was outstanding, and the food was excellent. Everyone left happy, and the atmosphere and overall vibe were fantastic. After a long hot day this place was a welcomed spot. Staff makes you feel like home and the food is wholesome, flavorful and excellent price point. Try the marinated grilled rooster and a liter of house wine

This place was outstanding. One of our best meals in Italy. Everything was very high quality, the pasta specials were amazing. Dessert was so good, tiramisu and creme brûlée. The steak filet was delicious. Overall 5/5. Feels off the beaten path and not super touristy. Highly recommend

An intimate and very welcoming place, with prompt service and no long waits. The brick-baked chicken is exquisite.

Friendly and easy-going service. The pasta is clearly homemade, but the sauce lacks a bit of love: good, but too much oil and fat. The lamb was a generous portion and very tasty. The house wine was fine. The outdoor seating area was quiet but a bit cramped. We didn't have a bad meal, but we won't be returning because it's too heavy for us. Overall, the price was fair for the location.

An absolutely outstanding dining experience at Club Culinario Toscano da Osvaldo in Florence! From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The food was truly unforgettable. The zucchini flower was perfectly prepared and delicate, and the ossobuco ravioli was tender and beautifully seasoned. The bistecca alla Fiorentina.....simply out of this world. Perfectly cooked, incredibly juicy, and easily one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a great meal. On top of that, our server was fantastic, friendly, and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. If you’re in Florence, this place is an absolute must visit. I can’t recommend it highly enough!
