A small, cozy restaurant with friendly, attentive staff. Delicious dishes, including the homemade pasta with mushrooms and sausage, the Florentine steak, and the French fries, and the desserts are excellent.

Wanted to love it, but didn’t.
First they said zucchini flowers were finished for the season…..then the friendly waiter acquiesced and got me some. Every table around me also ordered it without the same song and dance. Only run out for non-locals?
Then they recommended a stuffed potato filled pasta with porcini mushroom which was stuffed with SWEET POTATO which they didn’t mention and the flavour was just….so so. I didn’t see a single other table order it… read into that what you will.
White house wine was awful, I had a sip and left it. They don’t offer glasses only a carafe which is kinda cheeky for lousy box wine.
Servers acted friendly, lots of Italian spoken around me.
No limoncello offered, despite other tables getting some.
Disappointing to be charged 44 eur for an underwhelming meal which was largely vegetarian.

We had a great experience of its kind. The proprietor is a natural: charming without fuss. He also did something utterly shocking by down-selling us on our wine, suggesting something almost 50% less expensive than the one I first asked about. For that alone he deserves accolades, but the food was also simple and earnest and good.

An absolutely divine address run by two passionate and welcoming brothers!
A beautiful traditional atmosphere, but dishes at the cutting edge of gastronomy. If you come for the bistecca fiorentina, you're not mistaken, it was perfect!
The sides are delicious, especially the zucchini in vinegar and the rapini! Always a good Chianti to accompany everything.

Classic dishes, but very well made with high-quality ingredients, excellent appetizers, and very good meat.
The service staff were truly kind and very good at managing a group of 20 people.

The culinary reinterpretation of Tuscan tradition is excellent, interesting, and enjoyable. The restaurant presents itself as a typical Florentine trattoria, with a refined interior designed to evoke tradition. The dishes are mostly regional, with a reinterpretation that allows you to discover excellent pairings with classic flavors. The service is fast and quite attentive. We sampled appetizers, first courses, second courses, and desserts, and unfortunately, I have to say that, with the exception of the appetizers, the other courses were truly meager (including the desserts). In conclusion, a bill of €45 per person for an appetizer, a main course, and a few desserts (with the sizes already mentioned) was a bit excessive.

When I tell you this was the BEST meal I had in Florence, I truly mean it!!!! Our taxi driver recommended this place, as he is friends with the owner, and I am so happy! This place was very authentic. We tried the fried eggplant with parmessan, homemade pasta and lamp cooked the Florence way!!! Chefs kiss!!!! We are definitely stopping by again before leaving Florence!
Favorite meal—loved the stuffed zucchini flowers and meatballs, stewed rabbit was delicious, pasta was fresh, house wine was tasty. The service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy. Prices were a little higher than our tight travel budget usually allows, but we went for a special meal based on a recommendation, and we were glad we did.

Visited from out of town looking for an authentic Tuscan experience and totally found it. Nestled in a more quiet area of Florence, this place felt truly authentic. The staff were warm and welcoming, we were surrounded by locals, and the food was some of the most delicious I’ve ever had in my life. If I ever come back to Florence, I may just have to eat here every night because I haven’t found anything else in town to match it.
