Cleonice In Grosseto

We had dinner at this restaurant. The atmosphere was simple and welcoming. The selection wasn't extensive, but the dishes were excellent and high-quality. The anchovies in salsa verde as an appetizer were very good and fresh. We had three first courses, all carefully prepared and flavorful; the tagliolini with sea bass were especially fabulous. The fried fish was also excellent, both with and without mixed seafood; it was dry and not at all heavy. My only complaint is that perhaps I would have added a little more mixed seafood. Unfortunately, we didn't get to try the Portuguese milk pudding (though we'd seen it at other customers and it looked lovely), so we opted for the homemade tart with custard and strawberries, and I must say it was another pleasant surprise. The owners were friendly and kind. The price was average, but the quality and flavors are worth it. A pleasant surprise! We'll definitely be back.

Great food, great hospitality, and great service

A fantastic discovery! Seafood made with love. Family-run, tried out of curiosity; I'd love to dine there every night. Spaghetti with clams was top-notch, delicious fried food, and, last but not least, a real Portuguese latte! They're incredibly kind and friendly; it's a pleasure to return every time!

What can I say about this seafood restaurant in Marina di Grosseto? It's unmissable. The spaghetti with clams is their signature dish, but everything is delicious: cod with marinated red onion, marinated anchovies in green sauce and capers, tagliolini in bianco with sea bass, gnocchi with shrimp ragù, pici with octopus ragù, and fried mixed seafood. You absolutely have to try them. Next time, I'll also try the ginger prawns (which I haven't seen anywhere else) and the spaghetti with clams.
