Civico 57 In Spello

One of the best meals we’ve had in Italy (3 weeks so far). By far the best in Spello (10 days). We’d spent the day hiking and decided to give them a try. Don’t be swayed by the hamburger signs out front, this place is much more. We did have one burger (the best I’ve had in months) and the steak with herbs (divine). The fries and grilled vegetables rounded out a fantastic meal. The staff is very friendly and we’ll try to visit again before we leave.

Each one better than the last, so much so that we left feeling tipsy and happy, with that feeling of lightness and joy that only a great experience can provide. What's most striking is their skill in combining flavors and aromas: it's not just about drinking, but about perceiving with your nose and palate all the richness that Italian craft beer can offer. All this, framed by the magic of Spello, an Umbrian village seemingly straight out of a painting, makes for an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended for those seeking authenticity, flavor, and conviviality.

We just visited this place and I have to say we were very satisfied: my husband had a Cope beer, very fruity, and even I, who am not a beer fan at all, found it pleasant and delicious! Then we had onion rings, burgers, and ribs, everything was delicious, and the meat was cooked to perfection! The staff was very welcoming and knowledgeable, we felt truly at ease! Small, minimalist, and well-kept location with a beautiful brick ceiling! I highly recommend it!

We were in Spello and decided to stop at this restaurant for dinner: a great choice! I ordered a hamburger with fries and fried mozzarella, and it was all really delicious. The hamburger was tasty and well made, with fresh and quality ingredients. The fries were crispy and golden, perfect, while the fried mozzarella was a real delight: stringy and with a light and crispy breading. The environment is very nice, with attention to detail and really welcoming. The service was impeccable: kind, attentive and fast staff. A truly pleasant experience, highly recommended if you are in the area!
