Civico 20 è un’esperienza da provare, perchè va dritta al cuore!

What a friendly restaurant this is. Run by their owners who welcome you with a warm smile. They speak English very well. The food is fantastic. Lamb, soup, chicken, pasta, salad. Their desserts are lactose free, vegan, and attentive to dietary restrictions. It is a great restaurant for such a cute small town. Highly recommended 👌

Pequeño restaurante acogedor cerca del castillo en Roccascalegna. En cuanto entraste, los dueños te trataron como si fueras familia. Almorzamos un día y un par de días después cenamos con amigos. La comida era increíble y el ambiente era fantástico. ¡El servicio era puntual! No tomé suficientes fotos, pero de postre tuve un pastel de chocolate con peras. Fue muy sabroso junto con mi copa de vino Montepulciano D’Abruzzo.

We hadn't booked, it was after 1pm, but they welcomed us cordially. Quiet, welcoming place. Friendly staff, good cuisine, partly traditional. The strudel was wonderful

The restaurant is located under a historic, and at the same time dated, building, a stone's throw from the town center. It does not have its own parking spaces but within a radius of a few tens of meters there are several, also the fact that the town is touristically "structured" for visiting the Rocca means that in any case you can park anywhere nearby and within 5 minutes you can is at the table. It has a beautiful large room inside and a few outdoor seats, where we had lunch on a beautiful sunny day with a view of the fortress. The menu is typical of the area, traditional dishes with an eye on vegetarian cuisine. We tasted a portion of "pallotte cacio e ova", a "village" appetizer which includes typical local cured meats and cheeses, two first courses (gnocchi with pumpkin cream and rintrocili with mushrooms and truffles), half a liter of house red, a liter of sparkling water and two coffees, 72 euros in total (see photo). Surely many will say that it is not cheap, in fact it is not, but I must say that in any case the price is fair and adequate for the dishes served, in addition to the fact that the kindness and courtesy of the dining room staff is excellent, the only thing that Perhaps the cover charge, 3 euros, is at odds with the price, which is also justified by the fact that a bag of 4 types of local bread is served. Of course, as I always say, THEY ARE MY PERSONAL CONSIDERATIONS BASED ON MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE, having said that I cannot recommend it to everyone because the high price in such a place is much above average (in fact it was just us at lunch), and what chairs and tables outside are very neglected and with very uncomfortable seats, at least some cushions should be added, they certainly don't help for an overall opinion on the price. Being a "perched" town, the main road passes in front of the place with all that it entails (cars, trucks and tractors) and that those with walking difficulties or the disabled will find the place slightly uncomfortable, but after all, people come here to visit the Rocca, that alone is not suitable for everyone. As far as I'm concerned, if I were to return to the area, it's definitely a place to have in your favourites.

Nice restaurant, good food, normal prices. Friendly staff. I recommend the cover charge at 3 euros per person and a little excessive.

My husband and I took a motorbike ride and stopped for lunch at this place. The place is located right in front of the Roccascalegna castle, the food is good and plentiful, the staff is very kind, welcoming and helpful. We had a very good time. We will happily return.

The first courses are good, the lamb is excellent
