I booked on the recommendation of some foodie friends. The place is quite unique at first glance; it's not very large, with some tables occupied by picturesque characters drinking wine and eating bread and cured meats. The welcome is warm, informal, with a hint of "family." The menu is even too varied, with generous portions, all excellent, very... homemade, and the flavors confirm it. The wine list is well-illustrated and recommended. Excellent service. The value for money is surprising...a positive thing. I'll be back.

Authentic trattoria in a historic residence. Spacious terrace with authentic cuisine, a family-friendly and informal atmosphere (in the best sense of the word), and very reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

The approach is... strenuous. If you don't like curves, you'll need to pull yourself together a bit. But once you get to the top, it's an absolute reward.
Once you get to the top, a restaurant with heart, attitude, and really good food awaits you. We started with a generous antipasti platter including mozzarella, burrata, pickled vegetables, and two very special highlights: the eggplant and a tomato cream.
The main courses? Also a hit. Orecchiette with beef ragù was hearty, homemade, and honest. The meat dishes were also top-notch. And even if you just want "something with pasta," you'll get a tomato sauce here that's anything but boring.
To take away, there's a small selection of delicatessen items in jars—pepperoni in oil, jam, tuna, and more.
Really good stuff, lovingly made. The prices? Absolutely fair. The taste? Even better.
And as for the service: If you know how to behave, you'll be welcomed like family, with warmth and genuine interest. Anyone who thinks waiters are personal court servants will be charmingly but firmly brought back down to earth. And that's absolutely right.
Conclusion:
A place for people with taste, both on the plate and in their manners.
We'll definitely be back.
The road to get there... we think it's not for everyone. Don't love the curves, breathe deeply and walk on the piano. But one turn up: it's absolutely worth it.

... Abbiamo iniziato con an'antipasto abbondante: mozzarelle, burrata, verdure sott'olio... the due cose ci sono rimaste davvero impresse: the melanzane and a crema di pomodori semplicemente spettacolare.
I play principals? Also perfect.
Orecchiette al ragù di manzo, saporite, fatte in casa, authentic.
Also in a second time the carne is ready. It's like “solo un po' di pasta”, which is also a simple sugo al pomodoro - but it's still banal.
The portare a casa: a piccola selection di conserve artigianali – pepperoni sott’olio, marmellate, tonno and other ancora.
Prodotti fatti con amore. I prezzi? Onesti. Il sapore? Ancora meglio.
E il service? If you have a good heart, you can join in with warmth and sincere interest, come in family.
Chi invece si comporta da padrone, viene gentilmente - ma chiaramente - riportato with i piedi per terra. E va benissimo so.
Conclusions:
A posto for chi ha buon gusto – nel piatto and no modes.
