This is a beautiful, authentic, small, family-run restaurant with an amazing atmosphere. We were warmly welcomed by the chef himself, who greeted us with a big smile and seated us at our table. He explained every dish in great detail and made sure we felt completely at home. I had already planned to try the Florentine steak—and I have zero regrets. It was, without a doubt, the best steak I’ve ever had in my life. In fact, out of our entire trip to Italy, this was the most delicious meal both my wife and I had. No question about it. We’ve dined here (they were our hotel’s recommendation) several times over the ten years or so that we’ve repeated the Chianti area for long weekends away. Good food, friendly service and reasonable prices.

I'll start with the splendid service managed with friendliness, attention and speed. We were welcomed with a smile by everyone, advised in our choice and we never waited more than a minute for the second or third bottle of water even though they were very full. (how many times do you have to ask again). The layout of the tables allows for good privacy even if the place is crowded. Exquisite food, try Silvia's chocolate cake! And it doesn't matter if it doesn't fit after the polenta with wild boar, liver and cheese or after the soft and tasty meat... Their Chianti Cinque di Vino is worth tasting and I thank you again for the excellent dinner worthy of the famous Tuscan hospitality and good wine and food. Nothing is missing from this place. A note of merit for the way in which a couple of customers who arrived very late and made what we thought were a little absurd demands on the dishes requested were handled. Not only were they pampered, but there was no sign of any difficulty in managing those who "demand" because they are customers. Congratulations for everything!

Ottima cucina in un piccolo locale a San casciano. comodo parcheggio. abbiamo mangiato come lupi. tonno del chianti, crostoni con verza, pici al ragù, zuppa, piatto misto si carni di manzo e tagliata di manzo. menzione speciale per la carne. Tenera e molto saporita servita con salse buonissime.

Marco che dirti, innanzitutto grazie mille. Ospitalità, cordialità, consigli e raccomandazioni, tutto PERFETTO! Partiamo dai vini, anzi no, atmosfera e welcome caldi e avvolgenti. Vino: poesia in bottiglia, 2 consigli su 2 apprezzatissimi! Antipasto misto in condivisione, materie prime di livello e tipiche della zona, esaltate sapientemente e senza corromperne il gusto, anzi! Primo piatto in condivisione: Scrigni cacio, pepe e tartufo con un po’ di pera che dava una nota dolce al piatto..un altro 10+! E poi il trionfo su tavola: La Bistecca Fritta! Un must di questo locale che lavora la carne da maestro! La recensione la stiamo facendo prima del dolce e del conto ma ormai è chiaro: Qui non si mangia, si volaaaaaa! Continuate così e grazie ancora per l’esperienza memorabile! Ps anche tantissime scelte di dolci e piatti senza glutine

Ho un'auto del 2018, ma non so come mai ha già montato la guida autonoma di livello 3, perché ormai ci viene da sola... A Firenze si dice "c'iò fatto i'vviottolo a forza di venirci", tradotto ci sono venuto talmente tante volte che ho scavato un solco per la strada. Non è solo un ristorante di cucina, propone anche tante altre cose e rivisitazioni che sarete costretti a ritornarci, per non parlare poi di Marco, della Cecilia, della Silvia (lasciatevi un posto per i suoi dolci), di Mirco e degli altri che fanno da contorno a questo splendido emozionante posto. Basta non voglio aggiungere altro, altrimenti potrei sembrare troppo di parte, ma vi confesso che lo sono 🙄
