First evening in San Casciano, looking for a typical Tuscan osteria.
We relied on online reviews, but, likely due to poor menu choices, we didn't find what we were looking for here. The house appetizers were average, but not typically Tuscan. The Florentine steak was good, but not a real explosion of flavor. The price was high. The potatoes were delicious. The wine list was excellent.

This has been our favorite place since we moved to Florence! Impeccable traditional Tuscan cuisine in a quaint and picturesque location. The service is always very welcoming and attentive, with a family atmosphere.
We return whenever we can.
Congratulations to Marco, Silvia, and Cecilia for the hospitality and atmosphere they've created! Keep up the good work!!

A restaurant offering both indoor (the room is a bit small with tables very close together) and outdoor dining (very intimate and quiet), where the cuisine focuses on traditional flavors (like grandma's). Excellent quality ingredients, especially the meats. A special mention goes to the well-aged and beautifully breaded fried steak, which was not at all heavy. The wine list is not extensive, with local and international selections. The desserts are also very good. Service is attentive and fast. The only downside to this is the prices, which, despite the quality of the dishes, I find a bit high.

A private and very quiet location, with the now-classic table lights creating an intimate atmosphere. We ordered Pici, Garganelli, Fiorentina, and a hamburger with baked potatoes, and all the dishes were delicious and prepared by someone who knows how to handle the ingredients well. Honorable mention goes to the service, which quickly resolved a burger issue.

We had lunch for four, including appetizers, first courses, and a second course. The dishes were delicious and plentiful. We also enjoyed an excellent bottle of house Chianti. The restaurant is very welcoming, cozy, and decorated in typical Tuscan style. The service was also attentive and welcoming, making it feel like family. We highly recommend it!

Personale gentile, accanto al centro di San Casciano con facilità di parcheggio.
Carne veramente buona, peccato l’ eccesso del sale, del quale non sono amante.
Il primo all’ anatra troppo pepato.
Antipasti umm…..Per il prezzo che li abbiamo pagati, non meritavano. Fuffa. Comunque nella media. Eccessivo il conto per i piatti consumati. Alla fine in sei, di cui 3 persone hanno mangiato un solo piatto. Mah.
