I found the appetizer original, tasty, and enjoyable; the pork rosticciana was delicious, and the service was excellent, despite the restaurant being packed; they were very professional and friendly. The only relatively negative thing... the price, a bit high, but unfortunately now aligned; if you want quality... you have to pay a little more. Anyway, I'd gladly return if I could.

The cuisine is the restaurant's true strength: traditional dishes prepared with respect, using quality ingredients and distinct, distinctive flavors. Each course is beautifully presented and reflects the region's history, without unnecessary modern constraints. The wine selection is also excellent, carefully considered and in keeping with the food. The service is friendly, attentive, and never intrusive, immediately putting guests at ease and expertly recommending both dishes and food pairings. A highly recommended destination for those seeking a true osteria, where you can eat well and enjoy a genuine experience just a stone's throw from Florence. Definitely worth returning.

Given that we ate well, I wanted to point out some inappropriate behavior... I ordered an appetizer, knowing it was for two, and then two first courses: PICI WITH GRANDMOTHER'S RAGÙ (€17.50 on the menu) and SCRIGNI CACI E PEPE WITH TRUFFLE (€22.50). At that moment, the ordering lady offered to make things easier for my husband and I, offering to have the two first courses split directly in the kitchen... but when we read the bill, what a kindness on the part of the young lady... instead of €17.50, we paid €22.20 (€11.10 x 2), and for the other first course, instead of €22.50, we paid €28.80 (€14.40 x 2). Without taking anything away from the goodness of the dishes.....PLEASE CLEAR THAT THIS IS NOT A MATTER OF KINDNESS, BUT A PAID SERVICE, which was also not requested, but apparently offered by the waitress.

As always the dinner was amazing. If ever in the area you must eat here. Recommend getting reservations set up ahead of time because it's almost always at capacity when open.
