Ciciarà In Milano

Ciciara was an excellent discovery during our stay in Milan. Italian cuisine, authentic atmosphere, and a warm welcome. Greetings from France!

We just finished dinner at La Ciciara, a wonderful discovery in the heart of Milan, just steps from the Duomo. A cozy little place, with kind and friendly staff. We were looked after with great attention by Roberta, whose kindness and professionalism accompanied us throughout the evening, providing explanations that made the experience even more special. The menu is truly a winner: just the right number of courses, all interesting and capable of illustrating the local area. The dishes we tried were all delicious, but the top spot undoubtedly goes to the fusilli bucati with potatoes and smoked ricotta: a true delight, made with just three (I think) ingredients, the epitome of the best cucina povera. I will definitely recommend the experience at La Ciciara and will definitely return.

The menu is modest and rather unusual (not typically Milanese). Reservations are practically mandatory. The staff is very friendly.

A Milanese restaurant with a nice atmosphere, but rather disappointing. The menu is very limited, and the dish descriptions are written in an overly elaborate and sophisticated manner, raising expectations that ultimately aren't met. The portions are truly small, and the prices seem high for the quality and quantity actually served. The staff is courteous but a bit aloof, and, surprisingly, on Saturday evening, they seemed in a hurry to close the kitchen around 10:30 PM. It's a shame, because the basic idea isn't bad, but overall, I can't recommend it enthusiastically.

Excellent cuisine with a wide selection of healthy, traditional, and seasonal dishes. Elegant and beautiful plating, from appetizers to desserts. Service was a bit slow, but I think it was due to a small issue in the kitchen. I would definitely return!

Cosy, friendly, huge range of wine options and yummy food. Loved it so much we went back for lunch the next day!

We chose this restaurant for our Sunday lunch. We had a great time. The menu is varied and original, and the wine selection is excellent. I absolutely recommend the pumpkin on a bed of chestnuts; it was incredible. The service was a bit slow, so I wouldn't recommend it for those in a hurry, but it's perfect for those who want to relax. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, well-decorated. The price is a bit high, but we're in Milan, so I didn't expect to spend less. Super satisfied!
