Nestled by the serene waters of Tortolì, Ittiturismo Chiosco di Ponente - Oyster Bar offers an unforgettable dining experience. The ambiance is both relaxed and inviting, perfect for enjoying a meal with a view of the stunning Sardinian coastline. First we were given a bad table, so I have asked the manager to change tables. Table number 25 was proposed and one at the extreme end of the restaurant. Finally she gave us table 24, a table for 4 persons while we were just 2. It was a great table, just next to the beach 🏖 perfect 👌 thanks to the flexibility of the manager. To celebrate this, we have immediately ordered a bottle of bubbles 🍾 🥂 One of the highlights of our visit was the Tagliere Ponente. This delicious platter is a true celebration of local flavors, featuring a variety of fresh, high-quality ingredients that are beautifully presented. Each bite was a delightful journey through the rich culinary traditions of Sardinia. Another standout dish was the Grigliata Mista. The mixed grill of fresh fish was cooked to perfection, showcasing the incredible freshness and quality of the seafood. The flavors were vibrant and the textures were just right, making it a must-try for any seafood lover. Overall, the combination of excellent food, friendly service, and a picturesque setting makes Ittiturismo Chiosco di Ponente - Oyster Bar a top choice for anyone visiting Tortolì. Good place by the sea. Excellent fish. Simple and no frills. Excellent for those who love fish in its true nature, without unnecessary superstructures.

Here you can't say that the fish isn't fresh because there is a fishermen's cooperative managing everything. The restaurant is located a few meters from the sea. You eat excellent fish and, for those who love the genre, oysters reign supreme and it is a real sacrilege not to taste them because they are harvested at the moment. I also recommend the grilled sea bream, a true excellence. The basic menu is always the same but every day, at lunch there is a first course of the day, strictly based on fish, which is cooked before your eyes, while at dinner, always in addition to the basic menu, there are evenings " themed” with always different dishes. As regards the service, you immediately understand the difference between the seasonal workers and the staff belonging to the cooperative, the former very approximate but the latter extremely efficient, a real shame because teamwork always wins. There is a car park reserved for customers. Possibility of enjoying excellent oyster-based aperitifs with a truly winning quality-price ratio. Choosing this place, in addition to the fact that it deserves to be visited, is also a way to support the fishermen who deserve absolute respect. I recommend making a reservation because it is always full. Absolutely recommended!

The Chiosco di Ponente has been a certainty in the area for some years. The menu is quite limited and exclusively seafood, but offers a special dish for every day of the week. My experience was extremely positive, but with some small points that could be improved. We ordered oysters, grilled octopus, a plate of fried ravioli and a mixed grill. The oysters were certainly fresh, but not excellent: they were small and not very tasty. I wonder if it wasn't because I went at the end of the tourist season. The fried ravioli was good, but not sensational. On the contrary the octopus and mixed grill were incredible. Absolutely worth taking: generous portions, perfect cooking, exceptional taste. Everything was accompanied by a fresh house wine suitable for the meal. The staff who served us were really pleasant and helpful. In closing, I recommend the place, although I wouldn't suggest the black ravioli.
