During my stay in Rome, a friend invited me to this remarkable seafood restaurant, where I enjoyed a variety of dishes, all equally delicious and beautifully presented, from the freshest mussels in a stew to baked amberjack with vegetables, followed by slow-cooked octopus and the superb tonnarelli with clams! Fresh and never-before-tasted dessert: a pineapple wafer with lemon sorbet. Absolutely recommended for seafood lovers.

Entering Chinappi is a bit like crossing the threshold of timeless elegance, the kind that in Rome survives only in places where dining is still a signature craft. The private dining room, intimate and quiet, offers the perfect setting for an intimate dinner, where every gesture of service is calibrated with the precision and grace of those who know how to welcome without ever intruding. The Franciacorta bubbles open the scene with just the right measure: fresh, elegant, served at the perfect temperature. Then the dishes arrive, each a small picture. Seafood cuisine dominates with a firm hand: impeccably fresh fish, cooked to the millimeter, clean and distinct flavors that seek gastronomic truth rather than show. The plating (as shown in the images) reflects the same aesthetic attention found on the palate: harmonious colors, balanced proportions, compositions that speak of craftsmanship and sensitivity. The service accompanies everything with discretion and punctuality, making the experience truly personalized. It's rare to find a Roman restaurant capable of combining the absolute quality of its ingredients, formal restraint, and human warmth so well. The fish menu, ordered through The Fork, was well-priced, and the portions matched the discount. I expected better, but overall it was adequate.
