Chez Remo In Torino

If you love thin and crispy pizza then this place would be heaven for you. Staff is very kind and efficient. Atmosphere is cosy and nice. Definitely worths a try if you swing by Turin and you want this kind of pizza. Give a try to Farinata as well.

We hadn't been there for a few years. It is always a pleasure to return, to find a familiar and welcoming environment and delicious pizza.

First time, both pizza and farinata were excellent

In a city that has changed so much in the last forty years, some places have remained intact. Luckily, I might add. Some restaurateurs have managed to create a deep and lasting bond with the customer who has become a regular. Chez Remo is an example of all this. It must not have been a fortuitous result but linked to a lot of work and a product that never disappoints despite the passing of the years. The writer came to eat here as early as 1990, coming from Mirafiori, preferring this place to many anonymous establishments in the centre. Over the years, growing up and coming to live in the area, I occasionally went to this place to eat the iconic friendship pizza. Chez Remo is a warm and romantic restaurant with a Parisian atmosphere. Mirrors, soft lighting and tasteful music make it the perfect place to take someone you care about. Here the pizza is light and crunchy. It is clear from the first slice, of this pizza so large that it can be shared with those at the table with you, that the ingredients used are fresh and of high quality. The farinata is equally good. I would also like to point out the homemade desserts which are truly a plus and give a specific identity to the cuisine. One of the best places in Turin.

Great place to spend a romantic evening in peace.... It's a place I've been going to for years and I've always had a good time.... The pizza is fantastic as is the service. I recommend it

Not my best dining experience in Turin by far. The concept is nice with the pizza del amicizia, to share. Sitting in the secondary part of the restaurant is uncomfortable, the table was dirty, the waitress forgot several things. In short, I won't go back.

In Italia quasi ogni città ha una sua versione di "pizza". Per prima viene quella Napoletana, alta, morbida elastica e dall'importante cornicione, poi abbiamo quella scrocchiarella cher troviamo a Roma, e a Torino? Be abbiamo quella servita "al padellino" e basta. Ed invece non è così c'è dell'altro e per noi è stata una gradita scoperta. Infatti vorrei parlare di una chicca trovata proprio ieri sera in quei di Borgo San Paolo. Il locale si chiama CHEZ REMO, è gestito dalla stessa famiglia sin dal 1968. L'ambiente non è grande e dispersivo, ma d'altra parte non si è sempre detto che nella botte piccola si trova il vino migliore? ed è così anche per la Pizzeria CHEZ REMO. Per noi si è rivelata una piacevole sorpresa. Ce l'hanno fatta conoscere dei nostri carissimi amici, che ci hanno fastto conoscere un locale accattivamte, e perfetto per trascorrere una serata con degli amici veri. Le luci sono basse, pochi i tavoli, il tutto in un ambiente estremamente accogliente dove ci si sente a casa e si starebbe volentieri sino a tarda ora a conversare. Le loro pizze variano nel periodo, hanno dei nomi spesso non convenzionali; sono caratterizzate dall' essere prive o quasi di cornicione, sono sottili, molto ben farcite, ma soprattutto hanno la rara qualità di essere tutte digeribilissime. I gestori con noi si sono dimostrati accoglienti ma non invadenti, i prezzi sono più che onesti; locali con queste caratteristiche non se ne trovano molti. In due parole, lo consiglio per una serata da trascorrere gustando una pizza secondo me molto interessante. Ah, dimenticavo di aggiungere: i dolci, peraltro spettacolari, sono di loro stessa produzione. Consigliato!

Premessa che la pizza è soggettiva.... Questa non mi è dispiaciuta perché è sottile. Da migliorare sono i dolci e forse se ci fosse un tavolo in meno si starebbe più comodo e non guasterebbe un po' più di luce. I prezzi sono nella media.
