CHEZ BLACK In

A beautiful setting, even if it's noisy. It's a shame the cuisine is low-quality and caters to tourists.

We went to Chez Black at the end of May for dinner and were satisfied. The location is perfect – right on the beach in Positano, with a beautiful view and a lively but pleasant atmosphere. The restaurant is very busy, but the organization is efficient. We ate pasta and fish – both dishes were good and well presented. The service was very friendly and attentive, despite the large influx of customers. You can feel that the staff is used to dealing with tourists, but they do it with kindness and professionalism. In summary: a great choice if you want to eat well in a special location, with a welcoming service. Recommended!

The pasta with mixed seafood was excellent however the veal was a miss. Would recommend for the atmosphere, service and location on the waterfront. Food was secondary.

We cannot say enough about our whole experience here at Chez Black. The food is extraordinary, the staff (Pasquale) amazing, the atmosphere iis second to none. Gianfranco is a class act and watching the love he shows his dad who just watches over his beautiful legacy is so moving. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Service is so slow, the ravioli was good and so was the spaghetti with meatballs. The salad did not have any dressing.

Restaurant on the beach of Positano with very nice decoration, relatively good prices for the area and excellent service

Located beachfront Posatino, Chez Black is one of Posatino’s classic restaurants and worth making a reservation. The menu is deliciously fun offering a full selection of pizzas, very tasty. Fresh salads, antipasto, full range of entrees, and tasty desserts. We enjoyed their signature lasagna, yum! Fresh fish of the day was prepared perfectly. Only disappointment was the mashed potatoes. Decent wine list with super reasonable prices. Martinis are on the small size but tasty. Overall, very busy happening place buzzing with both locals and tourists, make reservations in advance. Excellent food and great views of the sea and people watching.

Situado frente a la playa de Posatino, Chez Black es uno de los restaurantes clásicos de Posatino y vale la pena hacer una reserva. El menú es deliciosamente divertido ofreciendo una selección completa de pizzas, muy sabrosa. Ensaladas frescas, antipasto, una amplia gama de platos y sabrosos postres. Disfrutamos de su lasaña distintiva, yum! El pescado fresco del día se preparó perfectamente. La única decepción fue el puré de patatas. Carta de vinos decente con precios súper razonables. Martinis son en el tamaño pequeño pero sabroso. En general, un lugar muy concurrido y lleno de gente local y turistas, hacer reservas con antelación. Excelente comida y excelentes vistas del mar y la gente mirando.

Excellent restaurant in Positano! The food was delicious and the staff was superb!!!

De frente para a praia, uma vista maravilhosa, ambiente super agradável atendimento muito bom, todos os funcionários bem gentis. Tudo que pedimos estava muito bom. Podem ir sem medo de ser feliz, pedi de entrada uma fritura al mare que estava saborosíssima, de prato principal espaguete al mare, muito bom e meu marido um bacalhau frito, também estava ótimo. Só vai, não vai se arrepender. Facing the beach, a wonderful view, a super pleasant atmosphere, very good service, all the staff were very kind. Everything we ordered was very good. You can go without fear of being disappointed, I ordered a fried al mare as a starter, which was very tasty, the main course was spaghetti al mare, very good and my husband had fried cod, which was also great. Just go, you won't regret it.
