CHEZ BLACK In

We visited in July during our Honeymoon. This was one of the most recommended restaurants in the area. Many famous people have been here and so of course we wanted to give it a try. The atmosphere and location are great. The ambiance is also great and the food was good. The 2x we went, it was for lunch. The 2nd time we visited, they seated us and then rushed us to give our order because the kitchen was closing. When we were being seated or when the server 1st came to us they could have told us. They also could have told us no and we would have understood but it wasn't nice being rushed. The food was good, portion sizes were nice. and just a heads up the tomato salad isn't a salad. its just a plate of tomatoes :)

Just ate here with my wife, my pizza was below average my potato croquettes were cold inside. Her gluten-free gnocchi was OK. I don’t think I would return back here. Feel like most people only do because it’s literally the first thing you see coming off the ferry. It was expensive too.

Not sure why the reviews aren’t higher…. This place is fantastic. I usually try to avoid restaurants in very touristy areas, but very glad I came here. The food is absolutely fantastic and authentic. The service is super fast and very very welcoming-our waiter Pasquale was amazing! The restaurant is bustling so the atmosphere is great and right in the beach in the main area. It is a little pricey but it’s on the beach in Positano so that’s to be expected. Definitely recommend checking this place out!

Great little lunch spot to stop. We got a pizza fresh off the ferry. Fun to people watch. The view was great too!

Location was great, near the ferry stop and beach, had a good atmosphere. The food arrives at all different times, the fries and plate of fruit salad arrives 10-15min after everything else. Asked for tomato sauce for the chips which never arrived. Given the prices, would have expected a little more attention. The pizza had flavour and was €22 and a plate of fruit was €20 with 5 strawberries, pineapple and honeydew. I suspect they are targeting tourists.

Amazing food, the staff are very friendly & the service is top notch. Has a big variety of different dishes, done well. The wine list is also reasonably priced compare to other restaurants nearby. Highly recommended.

It was too crowded. Food was OK and very overpriced but I guess you’re paying for the view because it is right by the water.

Situado frente a la playa de Posatino, Chez Black es uno de los restaurantes clásicos de Posatino y vale la pena hacer una reserva. El menú es deliciosamente divertido ofreciendo una selección completa de pizzas, muy sabrosa. Ensaladas frescas, antipasto, una amplia gama de platos y sabrosos postres. Disfrutamos de su lasaña distintiva, yum! El pescado fresco del día se preparó perfectamente. La única decepción fue el puré de patatas. Carta de vinos decente con precios súper razonables. Martinis son en el tamaño pequeño pero sabroso. En general, un lugar muy concurrido y lleno de gente local y turistas, hacer reservas con antelación. Excelente comida y excelentes vistas del mar y la gente mirando.

De frente para a praia, uma vista maravilhosa, ambiente super agradável atendimento muito bom, todos os funcionários bem gentis. Tudo que pedimos estava muito bom. Podem ir sem medo de ser feliz, pedi de entrada uma fritura al mare que estava saborosíssima, de prato principal espaguete al mare, muito bom e meu marido um bacalhau frito, também estava ótimo. Só vai, não vai se arrepender. Facing the beach, a wonderful view, a super pleasant atmosphere, very good service, all the staff were very kind. Everything we ordered was very good. You can go without fear of being disappointed, I ordered a fried al mare as a starter, which was very tasty, the main course was spaghetti al mare, very good and my husband had fried cod, which was also great. Just go, you won't regret it.
