A must-try place!! The farinata is top-notch, as are the pan-fried pizzas. The atmosphere is unique and relaxing, as well as laid-back.

Superb pizza, great staff too. Charlie's is an old-school place, in the best sense: authentic and welcoming, and without any marketing. It has the warmth of old-school places, but it doesn't feel old at all, quite the opposite. ❤️

Charlie Bird is an outpost in a very difficult and socially complex area near Porta Nuova station: a stronghold that, if it were to disappear, would leave room for very difficult situations for the surrounding urban area. A place that, in addition to bringing together people of all ages, promises excellent pan pizza and farinata, as well as a simple but tasty menu at a great price. It's one of the city's most renowned jazz clubs, hosting high-quality concerts and cultural events. Step inside and you'll understand. I don't understand the obtuse negative reviews, especially from those who've never been there.

A great restaurant and pub, with excellent pan pizza and farinata. More food than beer, a few but good ones, great music, and a welcoming atmosphere.
