I stopped here on my way from Bologna to Florence during a bicycle trip. It was mid-November, but the autumn leaves were beautiful, and since it's located over the mountains, the scenery was amazing. Best of all, the sandwiches were the best. Maybe it was after a day of cycling, but I was surprised to see how Italians regularly eat such delicious cheese, ham, and bread.

09/01/2026: The restaurant is very elegant and the outdoor garden is truly beautiful. The food is good, with some sophisticated dishes, though perhaps not all of them were perfectly executed. For example, the carbonara crostini, which I didn't like. The fillet steak, on the other hand, was delicious and cooked to perfection. The high price is partially justified by the beauty of the location.
09/12/2025: Amazing experience, highly recommend. The quality of the food and service was wonderful, especially being much more affordable than majority of competitors. Also note that it is very gluten friendly.
