Very nice place reachable from Claviere by bike, on foot or by car, excellent cuisine, very attentive to intolerances, a cool space in hot summers

Mi ha portato mio marito per festeggiare il mio compleanno. Che meraviglia. Chalet sulle piste aperto anche per cena con servizio di motoslitta per accedervi e rientrare (anche io sarei rimasta volentieri li!) a dimostrazione che se si vuole si può lavorare anche in bassa stagione con poca neve: Claviere sostanzialmente deserta, qui praticamente pieno. Il tema era la raclette che adoro e me ne sono davvero saziata. Prezzo adeguato in considerazione del servizio ma sono quelle volte che paghi volentieri per quello che hai ricevuto. Peccato solo che il menu fosse obbligatoriamente per entrambi mentre mio marito avrebbe preferito la polenta! Ma era la mia di festa…!!

I have known Chalet Monsoleil since it opened and I have followed its evolution over time. Meeting point for skiers of the Milky Way, and in summer for those who go for walks and excursions between Italy and France. Always open, summer and winter, it offers a wide selection of Piedmontese and mountain cuisine. On winter evenings, it organizes snowmobile dinners. Bar service with rich assortment of sandwiches and toasts. Very helpful and kind, you can stay inside the structure or on the large terrace. A warranty! Super recommended.

Highly recommended...arrived without booking, the very kind owner, even though there were a lot of people, found us 3 seats...ate a fantastic tanning polenta.

10/08/2024: Came here under recommendation from a friend and we were not disappointed, everything was great! The food was extremely tasty and interesting, combining element from the Italian tradition and re imagining them in a modern key, and the selection of natural wines was great. The service was super as well, we were even offered a glass of sparkling wine while we waited for our table.
