Chalet Fontana In Firenze

Ni siquiera habríamos encontrado este lugar si no hubiera aparecido como un punto de recarga (en el estacionamiento) para nuestro alquiler de coches eléctricos. Fuimos a Piazza Michelangelo y San Minato, y luego caminamos de regreso para un almuerzo tardío. era un día frío y lluvioso, así que tuve una sopa muy agradable y mi esposa tomó un risotto de espárragos. Ambos estaban geniales y lo rematamos con un buen postre. Bonita vista de los jardines también. Buen servicio.

The food doesn't do justice to the place but we had a nice evening. I recommend waiting until you can eat outside

From Porta Romana, going along the avenue that leads to Piazzale Michelangelo, you come across this wonderful place where, I must say, I had the opportunity to eat in perfect symbiosis with the nature of the green hills surrounding Florence. We stopped with some dear friends, taking advantage of the beautiful spring day, for an outdoor aperitif/Sunday lunch. We were welcomed quickly, and our table on the terrace, with a wonderful view of the greenery, gave us, unexpectedly, that rare feeling of being at home with friends, in a private and intimate dimension, more than in a restaurant. The place is truly peaceful and symbiotic with the surrounding natural landscape, and the service, offered by courteous and friendly staff, was fast and above all available to our every request. After the aperitif I had the octopus appetizer on a bed of potatoes, which in addition to being beautiful to look at, was really delicious and well made; I concluded with a tasty tiramisu, made not with the classic ladyfingers but with crunchy biscuits, and a good coffee. From my point of view, I conclude by saying that I had a really great time because it is a place where you can experience quiet convivial moments, and also because it offers excellent products with a good quality/price ratio if you obviously consider the wonderful context in which it hosts you. I recommend it!!!

Nice atmosphere with well spaced tables. Poor menu presented on a loose sheet of paper. Excessive prices for the quality of the food without any pretense. Professional, polite and efficient staff. Definitely bad price/food ratio

Restaurant visited in winter. It seems to be even better when the weather is nice, with the opportunity to be outside and enjoy the garden view. Still, it was good. Nothing to complain about.

Ambiente molto piacevole, menù con buona scelta di piatti sia di carne che di pesce. Ottimo livello di cucina, bella presentazione, personale molto gentile e professionale. Molto consigliato torneremo. Grazie e complimenti!

Very nice place, with a beautiful exterior. Convenient parking, passing through the restaurant... Elegant and cheerful atmosphere both inside and out, sufficient service. The presentation of the dishes is very careful but unfortunately the food does not fully reflect the aesthetic beauty of the dish, little substance and quantity... but dishes above sufficient. Nice place to take the kids when it's sunny.

Location esterna bellissima cibo ottimo

Lo chalet è fantastico e vivibile. Nessuno ti sta addosso, spazio e silenzio nonostante i tavoli tutti prenotati. Menù contenuto ma vario e salutare. Bene il gluten free un po’ troppo cari i vini forse servirebbe qualcosa a mescita, di prezzo 25-30€ c’è proprio poco. Non alla portata di tutti, 50€ a persona per un piatto pesce al vapore e agrumi, insalata mista, un calice e caffè.
