Centro Carni Bonincontro In Scicli

Finally! 2 years have passed, it was 2022, and on a rainy summer afternoon in Dubrovnik (!) I found the strength to write this well-deserved review: we had lunch with this gentleman on an afternoon of silence and bright sunshine like only in Scicli in August: aubergine parmigiana, lasagna, perhaps something else that we don't remember... but everything was exquisitely good. The taste of the meat in the huge portions of pasta was that of a butcher's shop with a long tradition behind it. The shy and very kind owner made us pay even less than we had to and even offered us an extra portion to taste. Imagine a man who has the experience of years and years of work written in his hands: imagine how well he knows how to make food. I am convinced that in Scicli it is impossible to eat better than in its meat center rotisserie. Two years later I thank him: I was in one of my short-tempered moments, I tasted the first bite of parmigiana while grunting... and it changed my mood, bringing me back to pure Sicilian happiness. Very good and abundant sandwiches, lasagna, arancini and Sicilian specialties! Giovanni is very kind and friendly, moderate prices and homemade flavours! Definitely worth trying!

Shop with fresh meat and quick food. There is only one table inside, but in front of the building there is a large terrace. It's worth sitting outside when the weather permits because the views are beautiful. For a small shop, the selection wasn't very large, but it was encouraging (you want to try everything). Arancini, meatballs, everything tasty. You can stock up on a barbecue in the store because all the necessary things to light it are available. You can also buy cheese here. The owner/employee is friendly, the store is clean
