Cecilia Metella In Roma

Wonderful visit to Ristorante Cecilia Metella! Family friendly, family run, and homemade family quality. We highly recommend visiting this wonderful restaurant if you’re in the area, or walk across from the Catacombs di San Sebastien. Cross the road, head to right and up the driveway. The staff were super friendly and fun. I felt like my grandpa was serving us, with his grandpa humour. Couldn’t stop laughing at his grandpa jokes. The food was amazing. I feel like this was my most authentic Italian pasta and cuisine during our stay at Rome. We ate outside on the their terrace. There were lots of tables and couod get quite busy. However, our visit was just right in terms of noise from other tables. No need to shout, but still enjoyed the energy of the restaurant with families and friends enjoying lunch out on a Sunday.

Amazing lunch experience under the vines. Meals and wine were superb, service was first class and atmosphere was next level fabulous. Really enjoyed. Highly recommend.

Great food, fair prices, great outdoor area

Great restaurant, with a friendly and witty waiter, Angelo! The spaghetti carbonara is delicious! Served with a bowl of Parmesan cheese for those with a sweet tooth! This restaurant deserves a better Google rating.

Angelo gave us a very warm welcome; he's a very friendly and professional gentleman! The place is very peaceful and the food is perfect!

A restaurant conveniently located near the Catacombs of St. Callistus. It would be a good idea to stop by here after a tour, have a glass of local red wine, and contemplate the eternal in the eternal city.

Ho mangiato un ottimo polletto alla cacciatora con una cicorietta ripassata. Proprio come un imperatore romano avrebbe potuto mangiare due millenni fa. Sono nato in Via Appia Antica e 60 anni fa già frequentavo questo tranquillo ristorante , con ampio parcheggio, con i miei genitori che lo trovavano tra i meno "arruffianati" della zona. Unica pecca vino della casa troppo caro

Recommended place to eat, taking into account that there are also few options in the area. When we arrived there were quite a few dishes missing from the menu, so we had to change options. The service was good and the dishes were good. Tiramisu highly recommended.

The outdoor part is very pleasant, friendly and fast service, generally decent food but very good tiramisu
