Winery located in Greve in Chianti, in the heart of the production area of the famous "Gallo Nero"; you can, better if you book, eat in the characteristic restaurant tasting wines of their production, the dishes are excellent and typically Tuscan and the service is attentive with competent and very kind staff. Only by booking on their website you can take a guided tour of the castle (private) and the beautiful cellars with lunch included, or, if at another time, with the tasting of excellent wines. Highly recommended!

We had an unforgettable experience at this beautiful winery. The wine tasting was exceptional – a perfect introduction to their carefully crafted wines, each with its own story and depth. We also had the chance to tour the estate and the wine cellar, which gave us a real sense of the passion and tradition behind every bottle.
To top it all off, we ordered a platter with local products from their own farm – everything was fresh, authentic, and absolutely delicious. From the views to the flavors, everything was just… bellissima. Truly a highlight of our time in Tuscany – highly recommended!

Not only is the well-maintained castle beautiful, but also the wonderful Renaissance gardens that adorn it. Set among the Chianti hills in the Greve valley, in a fairy-tale landscape between woods and vineyards, still mighty with its tower in sight, it seems to retrace a stretch of history by going back in the centuries, when the castle served as
outpost in a land marked by continuous family and political struggles.
The cellars are beautiful, where you can taste the excellent Chianti wines.

I would like to write a review based solely on the visit to the estate and the wine tasting. Firstly, the visit is interesting (but a little short) and the staff very welcoming. The tasting takes place in a beautiful setting, with the possibility of tasting balsamic vinegar and olive oil, products from the estate. The wine test (4 wines) will depend on your tastes but the real concern lies in the prices. It’s an experience that remains too expensive, 23 euros for the visit without tasting and 33 for someone who tastes. For a family of 4, the bill rises to more than €110, too high a price for 45 minutes.

Eccellente in tutto. Il 17 aprile ogni anno qui si celebra il viaggio di Verrazzano scopritore di New York, e c'erano anche conferenzieri e una mostra.
Era tutto superlativo: il vino (non solo Rosso: ma anche rosé, bianco, liquoroso, distillato), il cibo, il servizio, l'ospitalità del signor Cappellini. Ragazzi preparatissimi e puntuali che sapevano tutto. E poliglotti.
Il posto, ricavato nel Castello dei Verrazzano, è ricco di fascino, ma anche la parte moderna è deliziosa.
