Excellent wine tour. Tour itself lasted for an hour and then 30mins for wine tasting. The guide was very knowledgeable and polite. I toured winery in Montalcino - it was a rip off at 55 euros. Verrazzano for way less 35 euros had 4 wines + cheese and balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Their wines were amazing. I have shared pics of my fav bottles. They even made us taste 2011 wine. Highly recommend this. Chianti wines are better.

This is an amazing winery with a seriously rich history. The location is beautiful and the wines are great. Our host talked about the history, production techniques, and wines with a lot of passion. It was a joy to listen to her. Highly recommend to visit this place.

One of the most amazing experiences I ever had! The tour itself, the location , the people,the food and of course the wine ! We learned about the process of winemaking in combination with the history of the Verrazzano family ! We had the Sunday tour , wine tasting and lunch.I totally loved it and I definitely recommend it!

Excellent experience.
We toured the castle and cellar, listening to the history, and then moved to the tasting room for some of their wines, honey, and grappa, followed by an excellent and comprehensive lunch.

Eccellente in tutto. Il 17 aprile ogni anno qui si celebra il viaggio di Verrazzano scopritore di New York, e c'erano anche conferenzieri e una mostra.
Era tutto superlativo: il vino (non solo Rosso: ma anche rosé, bianco, liquoroso, distillato), il cibo, il servizio, l'ospitalità del signor Cappellini. Ragazzi preparatissimi e puntuali che sapevano tutto. E poliglotti.
Il posto, ricavato nel Castello dei Verrazzano, è ricco di fascino, ma anche la parte moderna è deliziosa.
