What great winer tour with a wine and food tasting amazing. Should have purchased more wine for later.

The light lunch in combination with the wine tasting was excellent. Tour was informative and personal, location excellent.

Food was amazing, wine was equally as good, bread was fascinating, ambiance was delightful; the view was simply beautiful, nothing to compare it to. This being said, my elderly mother asked if they had a simple salad, composed of lettuce and a few tomatoes, anything the kitchen could find. However, the waiter which was assigned to our table said, and I quote “We are not a restaurant, all we have available, is written on the menu” in a blatant and rude way. My mother, disappointed, proceeded to order “pappa al pomodoro” a simple bread and tomato concoction. It was amazing do not get us wrong. However, during the wait for the food, we noticed large bowls of salad, composed of lettuce and carrots, served to other tables. we would suggest a more empathic and compassionate behaviour by the waiting staff towards elderly members of the community.

Castello di Verrazzano is a must-visit in Chianti! The setting is breathtaking – a historic castle surrounded by vineyards and rolling Tuscan hills. The tour was well-paced and informative, taking us through the ancient wine cellars and sharing the rich history of the estate. The wine tasting was generous and well-explained, with a great selection of Chianti wines, including the Riserva and a delicious Soleila. We also did the lunch pairing, which was fantastic – local, fresh, and beautifully presented. Everything from the views to the wine to the hospitality was outstanding. A perfect Tuscan wine experience!

A great experience with a little lesson on Chianti and wine making ! Highly recommend.... Tomaso was a great guide , answered questions and was engaging . The wine tasting was great... it came with 4 wines Rosé , Chianti classico , Chianti Gran riserva and then the SuperTuscan. A plate of cheese , bread with their amazing olive oil and a spoon full of their Balsamic vinegar. Everything was perfect but that Balsamic vinegar was out of this world ! The tour was 32 euros per adult . The balsamic was 48 for the bottle. (expensive but worth it ) Little tip for when you pull up to the fork in the road.... go to the right towards the cantina. I went left 🤣.

Amazing place to visit. Beautiful views and a great tour of the winery. This was followed by a delicious light lunch and an exceptional wine tasting. Great wines.

Great degustation of typical Toscans wine and food with amazing atmosphere.

A must go. Breathtaking views, fabulous tour and amazing food/wine. There’s lots of rich history here and the tour is a great way to experience the entire area. They also farm their own fresh honey, oil, and balsamic vinegar. One of our favorite experiences in Italy so far!

A stunning castle with a rich history, amazing wines, and incredible views. The perfect Tuscany/Chianti Classico experience. The staff was very knowledgeable and super friendly. Great overall service & experience. Do not miss if visit Florence/Tuscany.

Eccellente in tutto. Il 17 aprile ogni anno qui si celebra il viaggio di Verrazzano scopritore di New York, e c'erano anche conferenzieri e una mostra. Era tutto superlativo: il vino (non solo Rosso: ma anche rosé, bianco, liquoroso, distillato), il cibo, il servizio, l'ospitalità del signor Cappellini. Ragazzi preparatissimi e puntuali che sapevano tutto. E poliglotti. Il posto, ricavato nel Castello dei Verrazzano, è ricco di fascino, ma anche la parte moderna è deliziosa.
