Nice but for the bed I expected more...spring mattress...not very comfortable...

Everything in Baccaresca Castle is taken care of in detail. Without a shadow of a doubt it is the ideal place to spend a few days in complete tranquility and comfort. The room we stayed in was clean, fresh and quiet. In the structure it is possible to access the swimming pool which is set in the greenery and is served by the bar. All around the structure there is a path of a couple of kilometers for a walk surrounded by nature. Truly a dream place that takes guests back in time.

The castle is beautiful, as is the context, the free swimming pool is a pleasant added service. Decent level breakfast. There could be some things to improve, the service in some cases is not up to the standard of the structure, sometimes they get lost on the details both in the restaurant and around the castle (even just asking for information). The car park is 150 meters away but all uphill. The bathroom furnishings are not the most comfortable. In a place like this, lost in the mountains, I certainly wouldn't expect an evening with music at full volume... But instead it ends up wanting to be Rimini... In short, for a significantly lower price it could be 5 stars.

We stayed for three days and I must admit that it was a wonderful experience. Comfortable room with a nice bathroom. Excellent restaurant and poolside service. Very relaxing ideal for a break from the city. The castle and the swimming pool are beautiful. The welcome given to our little dachshund is perfect, therefore ideal for those who have a four-legged friend and want to enjoy a relaxing holiday. Congratulations to all the staff and management. Highly recommended!!!

I stayed at this property for 3 nights together with my wife. The structure is beautiful, the staff helpful, breakfast and dinner (half board) good and plentiful. The SPA is well equipped (for a fee) and the outdoor swimming pool is also valid. However, I have some criticisms to make, without any denigrating intent, but only as a warning for any other guests. The motivation also comes from my personal condition, that is, male, close to seventy, obese and with knee problems. First observation in the common areas there are often some steps, I saw ramps but I wondered how a person in a wheelchair would get along. The room assigned to me, a junior suite, was large, with sloping ceilings with low windows and antique-style furnishings; in my opinion the lighting system was sufficient, but a little dim. The main problem for me was the bathroom, very spacious, but with an insurmountable flaw for me. The shower tray was of a decent size, but the access space between the sliding doors of the cabin was limited so I was unable to use the service. I don't blame this problem on the structure, but on my personal condition. A small disservice, a burnt out light bulb in the bathroom, made me notice other peculiarities; there was no electrical socket for a possible razor and the lamp switch above the sink was placed in an inconvenient and hidden area. I end this review here by reaffirming the positive meaning of my experience
