I got married in this wonderful place way back in 2018, and everything was perfect. Every year we come back to celebrate our anniversary, what can I say, a wonderful location, impeccable service and truly refined and tasty dishes. Always a pleasure.

Truly a fairytale place, we chose it as the location for the wedding lunch and everything was magical and perfect. Impeccable service with young and competent waiters, hosts who immediately put guests at ease. The day was beautiful, excellent menu with delicious dishes and the castle itself is beautiful, from the area below with patio and manicured lawns to the dining room worthy of a luxurious medieval banquet, with windows opening onto the wonderful Parma countryside. I give 5 stars because I can't give 10!

Met today during a wedding lunch. I'll start by underlining the excellent quality level of the cuisine, starting from the very rich and appetizing initial buffet and continuing with two first courses and a second course of truly excellent impact. But the even greater surprise came from the kindness and helpfulness of the owner, Luca, and the staff in providing assistance to one of our disabled guests in going up and down the considerable series of ladders and steps inside. Never before have I encountered such kindness and kindness. A big "THANK YOU" and a "goodbye", dear Claudio!

02/03/2025: Deliciously eaten tortelli, potatoes with porcini mushrooms, anolini and legendary braised sheep 🐑 from Corniglio, spongata and walnut cake.
31/10/2024: Posso parlare solo della pizza, perchè a base di questa si è svolto il mio pranzo. Per me ottima di gusto, abbondantemente farcita, forse un po' "pesante", ma potrebbe benissimo essere colpa del mio "stomaco delicato", o della scelta "esagerata" della pizza. Comunque approvata. Dolci sia fatti in casa (approvati dal mio commensale) che preparati da altri (approvati dal sottoscritto). Apprezzabile il fatto che la "gestrice" chiarisca senza esitazione quali sono "fatti in casa" e quelli no. Un suggerimento garbato per raggiungere i cinque pallini: fare uno scontrino analitico, voce per voce, e non una voce unica riassuntiva, per dar modo di verificare aventuali errori, sempre possibili, e di consentire eque suddivisioni in caso di "pagamenti alla romana"

03/05/2025: One of the many trattorias that should be protected. No pretensions to haute cuisine, just local cuisine done well. If you pass through Parma it is worth the detour. For me it's a fixed stop when I pass through those parts on my lunch break. I "oblige" you to listen to their vegetable gardener, otherwise improvise so that you don't end up badly, on the contrary!
28/04/2025: Excellent trattoria just outside Parma city. All types of tortelli recommended!!!
