Castello Banfi - Sala dei Grappoli In Montalcino

This was our second stay at Il Borgo but it won't be the last. The staff, from top to bottom, are dedicated to their jobs and you can tell they love working there. The wait and kitchen staff at La Taverna and La Sala dei Grappoli are true professionals. We enjoyed one meal at each and both were the highlights of our visit. We will happily make reservations next spring when we have our annual spring trip to Toscana. Keep up the great work!

Our stay at Castello Banfi was the one the best vacation experiences. The staff was excellent and just the best. We loved every minute of our stay at Castello Banfi. La Taverna was amazing, the food excellent. We will do everything we can to stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at Castello Banfi — the property is absolutely stunning, surrounded by breathtaking Tuscan views. The service was top-notch throughout our visit; the staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that we didn’t get the Junior Suite we had booked. While the room we were given was still lovely, it was a bit disappointing not to receive the specific accommodation we had looked forward to. That said, the overall experience was still exceptional — we’d definitely come back and recommend it to others!

Come nostro solito, in occasione dei compleanni di mia moglie e mio visitiamo ristoranti stellati; questa un'ottima esperienza, in una situazione da fiaba, in una terrazza di un castello con vista a tutto orizzonte sulla Val d'Orcia. I piatti sono creativi, con forte attenzione all'estetica e anche al divertimento, come nel caso delle finte ciliegie, dei finti pomodorini etc. il primo che voleva essere una pizza e il piatto di carne i due piatti che ci sono piaciuti meno; tutti gli antipasti ed il risotto i piatti che ci sono piaciuti di più. Mia moglie ha gradito anche l'ostrica per la prima volta nella sua vita. Servizio attento e non invasivo, qualche pausa fra un piatto e l'altro accorciabile. Con pochi ritocchi penso che la stella possa anche raddoppiare.

I went there to do makeup at a wedding. But all the staff at the castle are very kind, tidy and agile. They even set up a little place for us to do our work. Much love to them. Thank you 😘
