Tried the Castagneto starter, which is a mix of different starters from the restaurant, one word: fantastic, everything was excellent. We then continued with tagliatelle with duck ragù and Piedmontese agnolotti, both very well made dishes. Followed by a super delicious dessert. Fast and kind service! Retro atmosphere Very satisfied! I will definitely come back if I'm in the area.

Very nice location, with good food BUT lacking creativity and finesse. Service staff was very young and gave their best (much respect) but was lacking of training and support while a real passionated host/manager giving the place a “soul” was missing. the terrasse in summer is surely a positive game changer.

Torniamo ben volentieri in famiglia al Castagneto per gustare le ottime pietanze del ristorante. Siamo stati a cena, in famiglia, e ancora una volta vogliamo fare un plauso soprattutto al cuoco e allo staff di sala. Che dire, ottime pietanze, ottima preparazione e grande gentilezza da parte dei proprietari in sala. Un grande plauso. Grazie di tutto Davide Lm

Coming from Parma to catch my flight back to Canada in Malpensa, it was worth the 40 min detour just to have lunch here. It's runned by an extremely polite family, and I'm the kitchen highly skilled professionals. In addition, one of the family members has deep knowledge about wines, and successful guided me picking from Piemonte that would perfectly pair with my meal.

Ristorante a conduzione familiare molto accogliente, con menù ricco di piatti, soprattutto di terra e anche mare. Gentilezza e servizio fanno da padrone e buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Ne vale la pena!
