Beautiful outside, inside... I had the pleasure of dining at Casette York and I must say that the experience was a mix of light and shade. The location is truly enchanting: surrounded by greenery, with private and supervised parking, and the atmosphere made magical by the lights that decorate the garden. An environment that, in itself, deserves top marks. However, once inside, some aspects leave something to be desired. Let's start with the food: the cuisine is simple and homely, with the exception of the desserts which stand out in quality and presentation, demonstrating an edge over the rest of the menu. Nonetheless, you have to take into account a fairly high cost: with a starter for two, two main courses, two desserts and a cheap bottle of wine, you can easily find yourself spending over 40 euros per person. A little too much, considering the type of cuisine offered. The real Achilles' heel, however, is the service. I'm sorry to say it, but there is a lot of room for improvement. The room is too noisy and overcrowded, which takes away the serenity that is sought in a restaurant of this quality. Perhaps it would be appropriate to reduce the number of tables or adopt solutions to improve the acoustics. The waiters, although courteous, sometimes seem a little inexperienced and inattentive to the details that make the difference. An example? A simple paper copy of the menu for those who don't have a telephone at hand, or a more prepared and informed telephone booking service on the layout of the tables and the configuration of the restaurant. Small measures that would greatly improve the customer experience. In conclusion, Casette York has enormous potential thanks to its beautiful location and a gastronomic offer which, with some adjustments, could satisfy more. However, at the moment, the value for money and the service are not up to expectations. I really hope that these observations can be useful to make a further leap in quality. It's a great place, and I'd love to return in the future and find it improved!

We had lunch at this restaurant on a hot Sunday in August. Perfect welcome and our waitress, a blonde girl of about 30 years old, very nice and present, immediately served us a drink, something we needed in this heat. The food arrived quickly and was impeccable! Location with great attention to detail. A thousand thanks See you very soon!

Simply wow!!! Everything was excellent, from the first courses to the meat... shame about the cut, too tough and full of nerves... excellent service, with attentive and friendly staff. The location is worth it. I recommend it!!!

Siamo clienti fissi e anche stavolta il ristorante ha soddisfatto le nostre aspettative. Molto buoni i pro piatti, particolari e ricercati, anche la carne di ottima qualità, infine i dolci anch'essi molto buoni, anche se solo due gusti (crema e cioccolato) per il gelato sono un po' pochi. Molto svegli i camerieri. Forse un po' alti i prezzi, ma comunque merita di andarci

Pizzeria restaurant immersed in the countryside a stone's throw from the Portuensi hills. Excellent quality products and cuisine. Prices a little higher than average.
