Nice place with two affordable menus. Menu: Pasta + water + salad + coffee = €15 Menu: Pizza + water + coffee = €10. It should be noted that, in addition to the menu price, we paid a €5 service charge.

I went there during lunch time and ordered the lasagna and amatriciana lunch set. The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. I happened to be passing by and popped in, but it was such a great restaurant that I'd love to come back. The lasagna in particular was excellent.

29/03/2026: The place is beautiful, the service is excellent, and the meat is of high quality. The good selection of meats is very popular.
14/03/2026: Truly a hidden gem of an Italian restaurant in a quiet little hilltop town of Monticelio! Would highly recommend trying the food here; very tasty Italian for an authentic experience. Each of the dishes is an unique preparation compared to what I had tasted in the past, and all of it was splendid. Very good service and speaking no Italian myself, the staff were very helpful in providing the required suggestions.

11/04/2026: I'm a Palermitan living in Rome, and after trying several so-called Sicilian rotisserie restaurants in Rome, I can say that "Bedda Matri" beats them all. They even make potato croquettes (crocchè) like they used to be (they're getting hard to find even in Palermo). Highly recommended. I'd say mandatory.
11/04/2026: As a native of Palermo, I guarantee the highest quality and deliciousness of the products at an excellent price-performance ratio. What a joy to find a little piece of home here in Rome and your warmth in welcoming us. I can't wait to come back already ❤️
