Located in a wonderful setting, beautiful Ale farmhouse and nice restaurant and shop, where in addition to cured meats it is possible to buy locally produced goat's cheese.

Hard to judge based on a flying visit for bulk wine. I got to taste a bag-in-box Chardonnay, nice! I think it's a nice local eatery, ask the locals! I've been getting wine here in the summer for years.

We ate at Cascina Valeggia and had a truly excellent experience. The meat was incredible, excellent quality, and perfectly cooked. The staff is incredibly kind, courteous, and attentive. The value for money is also more than fair, not to mention the Nebbiolo... fantastic! Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back.

We went for dinner for the elephant ear menu. A lovely place. For appetizers, they brought us a small platter with delicious salami and cheeses made on their premises. My only complaint, since it's a farmhouse, is that I'd opt for country-style bread. Recommended.

You immediately sense the attention, courtesy, and helpfulness toward the customer, coupled with a true passion for what they offer. Quality ingredients, authentic flavor, and a warm welcome make Gioelia a treasured presence under the Portici Rossi. It's a pleasure to return every time.

13/07/2026: Until a few years ago, we used to eat there almost every Sunday. Everything was delicious. Angelo is a great griller. Nicolò is super friendly in the dining room and Anna in the kitchen. This makes the place top notch. And grandma's bitter? The one you have to try. . 😜😜
02/07/2026: A restaurant just outside Asti. I especially recommend it to grilled meat lovers. For grilled meats, they offer two options: appetizers + grilled meat (with two servings) for €28 (RECOMMENDED), or grilled meat only (they always ask if you want more) for €23. The side dishes are also very good. The place is very friendly and invites you to relax and enjoy the evening, perhaps dining outside on the terrace. Angelo is an excellent host. And the girls in the dining room were also attentive, friendly, and very helpful. It's a place accessible to everyone and I highly recommend it. 👍
