Let's start with the set menu. It's a disappointment, starting with the appetizers, which you'd expect to be plentiful and especially commensurate with the number of people seated at the table. Unfortunately, that's not the case: just two types of cheese, a bit of coppa, a bit of cooked ham, and little else. The first courses offered last weekend weren't exactly excellent; the risotto was quite stale and flavorless, and the second course was poorly cooked; again, the quantities weren't commensurate with the number of people seated at the table. The biggest disappointment was the second course, a dish you wouldn't expect at a farmhouse: roast beef with very salty baked potatoes. I almost couldn't even mention the dessert because it was a sort of mousse with crumbled biscuit underneath, and calling it a dessert was a bit of a stretch. All this for the modest sum of €50, definitely too much considering the quality and quantity, and not including drinks. The Cascina isn't bad; the space in front with the weeping willow is very pretty. The back is very poorly maintained and the animals have to be looked at from a long way away.

Good food, service by very kind and friendly guys

A lovely agriturismo just outside Milan. It's reached via a typical road that cuts through the fields. There's a large parking lot on the right before the entrance. The building has been renovated and is very pleasant, with an outdoor porch. Inside, it's simple yet elegant, and the rooms are very spacious. Excellent service from friendly, smiling, and even attentive staff. Good food, with the option of refills. It's always very busy, and the noise level is typical of a busy room, but acceptable. The atmosphere is relaxed, however. Average price is around €50. A trip to the countryside without going too far.

We went to Cascina for Easter Monday lunch. We ate well, especially considering the large number of seats. There's a large front yard where children can play between meals, very convenient. Plenty of parking. By requesting ahead of time, we were able to accommodate vegetarian and vegan friends. I'd like to return on a regular weekend to test it out without being so stressful!

A really nice place with friendly and very knowledgeable staff. The February menu is good but not exciting. Everything is very fresh and the atmosphere is quiet.

Family lunch, autumn menu. Simple atmosphere, very quaint outside, a bit sterile inside (very large), but pleasant. The waiters were kind and helpful, but not very knowledgeable about the dishes they serve. The food was very good, especially the appetizers, which were truly tasty in their simplicity. The first courses were also very simple, neither great nor bad (the rice was a bit hard, it should have cooked a couple of minutes longer). The second course was good, also very simple but tasty. The desserts were okay. The ingredients, many of which were produced in-house, were high-quality. The house wine was decent, not memorable, but it was nice that this affordable option was offered in addition to the usual €30 each. The option of asking for second helpings was much appreciated, especially on the appetizers, although they were given very sparingly. In conclusion, we ate a lot and well, at a fairly reasonable price, even though service charge and water are not included in the set menu.

A lovely place to celebrate with friends. The starters and appetizers are excellent.

This farm offers various activities: wine tasting with cheese pairings, and honey tasting. But the experience, the history of the farm, and the evolution of the Po Valley, as told by the grandfather and owner, was fantastic. The food was good; we really enjoyed the risotto with purple cabbage and mushrooms.

Last Saturday, we organized a club dinner for 160 people. I echo the compliments I personally paid to the manager: a superb venue with Christmas lights and decorations, quality food (and in such settings, it's very difficult to maintain this level), and extremely kind and helpful staff (every request was met immediately). The manager was very helpful throughout the entire planning process, despite our constant requests. A real top score.

A little noisy when full, but excellent and plentiful food in a rural setting (like a farm in fact).
