A place we've visited several times. This small farmhouse has a beautiful main room with a fireplace in a converted stable. There are also two other rooms, one inside and one outside, suitable for ceremonies, baptisms, etc.
Everything is already set, with a set menu. There are various dishes, from cured meats to first courses and second courses (the pork shank is excellent), and drinks include water and wine.
On a small downside, the bathrooms are outside in a separate room.
The staff is always kind and friendly.

Exactly, everything was good, the prices were fair. I should mention the pothole at the bottom of the parking lot, and I wouldn't put the food out until the customer arrives.

Sunday lunch with friends
7 adults and 5 children. We appreciated that children under 6 didn't pay and that those over 6 paid a reduced rate.
The set menu (drinks not included) was excellent: endless appetizers, 2 first courses (good), 2 second courses (delicious), and excellent tarts and biscuits to finish the meal.
A few small comments, but just to nitpick:
- the hole in the road to the parking lot
- fewer animals, I expected more considering it's in the open countryside (a purely personal expectation, though; they weren't mentioned anywhere).
In conclusion, I'd definitely return, especially given its proximity to Rome.

I went to this farmhouse on Saturday for lunch with my wife and two friends, and we ate so much and so delicious! We felt at home and pampered, from the appetizer to the farmer's coffee. Highly recommended.

I've been there twice, once with family and once with friends. It feels like home! Rustic and welcoming place, super friendly staff! The food is plentiful and delicious, and they leave little boxes for any leftovers so you can take everything home.
We'll definitely be back!

A Sunday spot in the countryside, where you can eat grandma's dishes in the same quantities as grandma used to make them! The thoughtfulness of providing takeaway boxes for leftovers is always appreciated, as is the kindness of the staff!

I don't know what the atmosphere is like in your families when you gather around the table, but if it's peaceful and the food delicious, then it's safe to say that at Casale dell'Orto there's a truly family atmosphere that puts you at ease from the moment you arrive. The fixed menu is €35 for adults plus drinks, with countless hot and cold appetizers based on simple yet delicious ingredients. You'll find them as soon as you arrive, after the bell rings announcing lunch/dinner. Those who get carried away by the many delicacies—salami, caponata, various vegetables, beans, chickpeas, parmigiana, etc.—that precede the two first courses are likely to have to loosen their belts. The offerings vary seasonally, and in this case, lasagna and bucatini all'amatriciana are both amazing. In the main room, next to the ember fireplace where bruschetta and grilled vegetables are prepared, those with a sweet tooth can look forward to the tarts, which, along with homemade cakes and biscuits, will round out your enjoyable culinary marathon. This is only after savoring the exquisite pork shank and chicken, accompanied by garden salad. All simple dishes, but only truly delicious if prepared with passion and care. This is precisely what Gerardo, his mother, and the entire staff bring to the table, smiling and ready to satisfy your requests. Nestled in the Roman countryside, the restaurant has several rooms, and you can also dine outdoors when the weather permits. Well-behaved dachshunds are the owner's passion. P.S. 1. Food is sacred and should not be wasted, so don't be shy about asking for containers for leftovers if the many courses have won the race against your appetite. P.S. 2 When you leave, remember to pick up your children scattered around the fields around the farmhouse. You'll most likely find them rolling in hay bales or near the pens of the small farm animals.

I went to this farmhouse with my boyfriend and three friends and we had a really great time.
Lunch is a set menu, excluding drinks. The appetizers are hearty and varied, then they brought us two first courses, two second courses, and homemade desserts, including tarts and biscuits.
The staff is kind and helpful. The food is homemade and very, very good.
I would recommend it to everyone.
If I had to find a couple of things to improve about the place, I'd suggest fixing the giant pothole on the way down, which is a problem with the car; we actually scraped it.
The bathroom at the end of the meal was terrible, but that's unfortunately the fault of the uncivilized people.
Maybe change the water for the pigs more often; yesterday it was very dirty.
As for the food, I repeat, nothing to complain about. I would definitely go back and recommend it.
