This is the place locals go to. Great wine and ingredients with very personable service. The owner spoke perfect English and helped walk us through the experience! A must-try if you love good wine and sandwiches/cold cuts.

Traditional cuisine, quality ingredients, and a few carefully selected Tuscan, Italian, and French labels. It's hard to find a better place for a quick lunch.

Tucked behind some market stalls. Small bar, big reputation. Great, helpful service and good advice on wines. Sell beer as well. Food, interesting small bites. Traditional. Everything we had was good

Forget the food in mercato céntrale- this is the real deal. Family run wine bar with delicious panini and crostini- traditional flavours to be paired with carefully sourced wines by bottle or glass.

Great spot!!! Right in the center of Florence next tò San Lorenzo market. This spot besides tò be so central is an authentic gem. Relax atmosphere and great welcoming. You feel tò be a local. Wine and food Is delicious. Definetly reccomended

We enter after shopping at the central market. We're from out of the region and ask for two Vermentinos by the glass. The owner hands us two glasses, €5 each. Given that we didn't see any prices on display and the most popular wines generally have a price listed, we got the impression that prices are set based on who enters the shop and whoever serves the wines. We should point out that we're not from the area and that they could have easily asked the price of what we were offered, so we probably made a mistake. It didn't make a good impression and we won't be returning.

05/05/2026: We wanted to have dinner in San Piero a Sieve during our hike on the Via degli Dei. The friendly man who greeted us asked if we had a reservation. After I said no, he showed us to a table. A young woman took over our table. We were given the pizza menu. Actually, I didn't want pizza, but something else... In short, what bothered me was the assumption from the outset that tourists only wanted pizza and ONLY handed out the pizza menu, and the woman didn't give me much time to decide... afterwards I understood why... quite a few people arrived who had reservations. Nevertheless, the pizza was excellent :), great value for money!
01/04/2026: Nice, quiet place, good food. I really enjoyed the crostini; the focaccia (bresaola and parmesan) was good. The beer was also very good. Prices were average.
