Carpe Diem is within walking distance of Baia Blue, where we're staying. We received a truly friendly welcome, and the food was delicious. Italian cuisine at its finest.

One of the best places of the entire trip! We went there two nights in a row (in June). Very, very good food, incredibly friendly service. I would happily eat there again anytime. For me, the best food in the area. Keep up the good work!

Carpe Diem is such a gem on a hilltop above San Terenzo, walking distance to the beaches of San Terenzo and Baia Blu. I had an excellent dried meats and cheese plate. Great service and a nice little selection of unexpected beers on tap.

A superb, unexpected evening! We had a blast! Delicious dishes, especially the pumpkin tagliatelle & gnochiete! This little restaurant is much better than those in the city center, real homemade and tasty cuisine. The server was adorable and gave good advice. I highly recommend this restaurant!

22/09/2025: We arrived at this restaurant early in the evening without a reservation. The service was excellent (very attentive, friendly, and fast). We enjoyed the food (cropped raw beef, minestrone, grilled scampi, daily fish, panna cotta with strawberries), the vino de casa was excellent, as was the espresso. It's reasonably priced. We highly recommend it. Thank you for the lovely evening.
