Ask for the amatriciana or the pasta Carlo menta. They are amazing. Also th wine of the house is astonishing.

I visited this restaurant almost ten years ago. The food is very good, but I must admit that the portions are much smaller compared to what they used to be. The carbonara, priced at €7, isn't the largest, and you have to order something else to feel like you've eaten something. My son ordered the Cacio e Pepe and said it was one of the best he's ever had. I recommend it to anyone looking for a decent restaurant in Rome and don't want to be fooled by other tourist scams.

The daily menu is good quality considering it costs only €15. A varied à la carte menu is also available. Service is basic but efficient. The place is often crowded.

Highly recommended spot with good food at a very reasonable price. We tried a set menu with a starter, two main courses, and dessert. Everything was delicious and affordable. The restaurant makes excellent use of space, easily accommodating two or three tables. Very fast service.

28/09/2025: An extremely positive experience!! I've eaten at Dar Parente several times, and it's always a guarantee. Over the years, it has maintained the same quality: the food is exquisite, from appetizers to first courses, pizzas, and desserts. The service was excellent; the ladies who served us were always ready to accommodate every request and made sure the dinner went smoothly. The prices were very fair; the atmosphere was family-friendly, simple, homey, and welcoming. I would definitely go back again!!
