Carfagna In Assisi

It's a place I always come back to

We stayed in this cute farmhouse at the foot of the basilica of S. Francesco, in fact you can enjoy a spectacular view of the basilica! We had a really great time, the room was welcoming and clean, the food was delicious and of excellent quality, the Christmas lunch was the best!! Above all we felt at home thanks to the welcome and kindness of Mr. Sandro, his wife Gabriella and his son Andrea, who put passion and love into everything they do. One day they also accompanied us to Assisi and on Christmas day Mr Sandro advised us to visit the Prison Hermitage, and it was a wonderful walk through the snow and this unique and spiritual place. What can I say... Thank you so much for the wonderful Christmas spent with you in Umbria, we will be back to visit you soon❤️

Nice location, spacious and clean room, excellent breakfast and very friendly owners and staff

But what can we say: Sandro is an absolute giant. I stayed here one night passing by on a motorbike trip. Sandro, his wife and the staff were very kind, welcoming and the food at dinner is not good but very good. You can feel the quality of the raw material! Very clean room, modern bathroom and nothing to complain about. They let me leave the motorbike under the cover of a veranda and this is much appreciated.

Excellent farmhouse. Located a stone's throw from the Basilica of San Francesco. Don't miss breakfast, they make delicious desserts. Another thing not to skip is dinner, they cook fabulously, everything is good. The owners are very kind and the staff friendly. They have a phenomenal view from the pool especially in the evening you will see a stunning panorama. To return. Congratulations to the whole Carfagna Sandro family

Abbiamo festeggiato qui il battesimo di nostro figlio a fine giugno e siamo rimasti molto contenti. In primo luogo ci siamo innamorati del bel posto e della splendida vista su Assisi. Abbiamo mangiato molto bene e possiamo dire che la disponibilità e la cordialità dello chef e di tutto il personale poi fa la differenza. Torneremo in una delle nostre future passeggiate ad Assisi!!!
