Carfagna In Assisi

They deserve not 5 but 10 stars! A fairytale stay. Perfect location, very clean, excellent and genuine food like the owners. They make you feel at home. Thanks so much, see you next time!

Excellent farmhouse. Located a stone's throw from the Basilica of San Francesco. Don't miss breakfast, they make delicious desserts. Another thing not to skip is dinner, they cook fabulously, everything is good. The owners are very kind and the staff friendly. They have a phenomenal view from the pool especially in the evening you will see a stunning panorama. To return. Congratulations to the whole Carfagna Sandro family

..what can I say, ..simply a Wonder! Fabulous place, ... starting from the entrance, it feels like being in a movie. Spectacular room, with direct view of Assisi. Very nice pool. Very welcoming and kind staff, starting from Mr. Sandro, and all his personal. Very, very nice and well kept place. Compliments.

Absolutely strategic position, just outside Assisi, right under the Basilica of S. Francesco, from which to enjoy a breathtaking view of the village, especially if seen from the swimming pool, which in the evening reserves a surprise with a chromotherapy flavour... The welcoming and very kind owners even provide a free ride up to the village providing all the details for a satisfying walk back. Basic but clean rooms with the comforts of home. The place is enchanting surrounded by an olive grove and if you are lucky enough to have a room under the roof, you can make friends with the swallows. It is also possible to have dinner, with good availability of truly delicious roasts, not bad starters and decent first courses. The side dishes are also excellent. Very respectable breakfast, although oriented more towards sweet than savory. You can enjoy quiet and peace and enchanting views. Definitely recommended, also for the excellent value for money.

If there is a place I would like to be now it is right here, at the Carfagna country house, excellent hospitality from the owners, surrounded by greenery, you can admire the city of Assisi and at night, illuminated it is magical. The presence of the many free horses is beautiful, our room was welcoming and clean. Good breakfast. The swimming pool is beautiful. We had dinner there for two evenings, everything was delicious with Sandro who recommends the roasts and other dishes, his wife an excellent cook, with the collaborators, the only observation is that you have to find a way (and there are) so as not to allow flies to enter where they are not welcome, the kitchen and dining room.

Ristorante provato in occasione di una comunione, siamo rimasti tutti molto colpiti dal calore e dalla cordialità del personale di sala. Vista mozzafiato su Assisi, portate abbondanti dal cuore Napoletano con grande varietà di scelta. Complimenti a tutto lo staff!

Alloggiando poco lontano abbiamo deciso di andare a cena in questo bellissimo ristorante.. la signorina Manar gentilissima ci ha riservato un bel tavolo con vista basilica.. spettacolare Abbiamo preso l’antipasto carfagna e c’era un po’ di tutto, affettati , crostini e frittata al tartufo. Vino Montefalco ottimo Prezzi molto onesti !! Consiglio a tutti di provarlo Grazie di tutto e a presto
