I'll start by saying that my review will be bittersweet. I'll start with dessert. Carbondolce it's worth the trip to Canosa alone, which was a bit disappointing... too bad... the inhabitants should learn to love and respect their own country. This is why the refined and welcoming environment of Carbondolce stands out like an oasis in the desert. Polite and hospitable owner. The staff is courteous but the hotel school is something else. The drinks are brought to the table on a tray, never in the hand, even holding 3 bottles together at a time and which are already open. Red wine is strictly served at cellar temperature, not cold room temperature. I don't even serve Tavernello at 4⁰. Let's move on to the meat, certainly of high quality, but when the meat is sold by the pound it is brought to the table before cooking, presenting it to the customer complete with a receipt with its weight and price. Advice for customers, at the end of the meal ask for the bill, carefully check that the dishes shown are those actually arrived at the table, and then get up to pay. (no allusion to intentional errors, perhaps a carelessness) I would go back but certainly some things can be improved.

Quality meat and high-level dishes, studied down to the smallest detail. I highly recommend the fillet with green pepper. The owner is perhaps a little intrusive, some might be annoyed by the excessive familiarity he takes with the customer. Highly recommended place for those who want to eat meat and want to eat well.

17/06/2024: We stayed in this B&B from 1 to 9 June. Our room was located on the first floor with a large balcony overlooking the sea with an excellent panorama. Small but welcoming room, it just needs a refresh on the walls. However, it has everything needed for a couple. Equipped with bathroom with shower, bidet, sink and also hairdryer, in the room TV, wifi and small fridge, air conditioner and wardrobe. Equipped with linen (towels and sheets) which is changed every 3 days. The breakfast is discreet and Italian-style. Juices, milk, water, cereals, yogurt, rusks, biscuits, cake, croissants and donuts are available. In addition to what's in the room, they ask you if you like cappuccino/coffee etc which they will bring to your table. With the room we also booked parking for the car in the guarded car park for a little more per day. To go from the Lido to the guarded car park, there will be a shuttle (Mimmo). We went to the restaurant to eat for both lunch and dinner. Both excellent, really high quality ingredients. The view from the restaurant gazebo on the beach in the evening is very suggestive. The beach is small and cute. Well maintained and constantly improving. Equipped with bars and bathrooms. The soul of the Lido is definitely Mimmo! Excellent advisor if you want to visit Puglia and eat well, the welcome is at home here! We sincerely thank Claudio, Grazia, Francesco, Mariano and dear Mimmo for making our stay in Puglia as if we were at home! Thanks again and see you soon! The Vikings 👩🏼‍🤝‍👨🏻
