During a trek going up from Laveno to the top of Sasso del Ferro, we stopped at the Gigliola restaurant and it was really worth it. We tried a goat's milk ice cream with blueberries: simply delicious, creamy and with an authentic flavour, perfect for cooling off after the climb. The place is lovely, with tables outside on a terrace that offers a spectacular view of Lake Maggiore. A quiet corner surrounded by greenery. Advised!

Nous étions en randonnée vers le Sasso del Ferro et nous nous sommes arrêtés dans ce restaurant au retour sans avoir réservé. Le serveur a été demander au chef et nous avons été acceptés. Nourriture typique italienne de qualité. Vue sur le lac imprenable et ambiance très chaleureuse. A faire absolument mais il vaut mieux réserver à l'avance.

Excellent place reachable by car from Cittiglio or on foot from Brena hamlet. of Laveno Mombello. Breathtaking view of Lake Maggiore and sites just a few tens of minutes from Sasso del Ferro.

The food is very good and the prices are average, apart from the desserts which didn't drive us crazy! Friendly owners. The only thing inside is that animals are not accepted. I had the dog and we had to leave him in the car in February it was really cold. All in all, everything is fine

Non abbiamo trovato nulla di cui essere, anche solo minimamente, insoddisfatti.
Accoglienza, qualità e genuinità della materia prima, servizio in sala, preparazione delle portate che ci hanno dato una esperienza sensoriale difficilmente ripetibile!
Identità e tradizione.
Il tutto immerso nel trionfo della semplicità.
Mi fermo qui.
